Blimey, that is a massive deterrant to going to A&E. What happens if you don't have enough money to pay them? Do they just kick you out?

If you have no money or plastic cards with you, they send you out a bill and then lots of reminders and if you don't pay it ends up with a debt collection agency!! My kids play a lot of sport and we had 4 trips with them to A & E last year plus one with himself getting kicked in head by cow and 6 stitches in forehead! €500!! Although we may get some back on our private medical insurance but that costs €2500 per year!!
Because of scar DH's nickname is now Harry Potter!! :rotfl:

    5. Finish dental tax claim! This one is a must! :(Bigger job than I thought - part of medical expenses claim so need to start on 2011 medical receipts
    6. Buy birthday card - hopefully using points on loyalty card Done - & also got all cards needed for March! :D
    7. Empty washer, hang up to dry and put another load in Done :D
    8. Clear treadmill - it is not a wardrobe!! :(

Hi everyone. Have been a bit awol on the lists as my blood pressure medication was upped a bit, which always turns me into a complete zombie for a few days. Seem to be coming out of it a bit now.

    1. Fill in forms for a new driving licence
    2. Wrap all sold ebay/Amazon parcels
    3. Try to get Mothercare code to work
    4. Make midwife appointment
    5. Identify some attic ebay boxes for NIM to bring down
    6. Sort out the bag of unidentified paperwork in the lounge
    7. Get another load through the washer
    8. Hang out all the damp washing
    9. Look into dropbox invite cousin has sent to send her photos
    10. Call T Mobile

Vintage43 - you can ask for interest to be stopped if you're entering into a DMP, be that self created or through a charity/company. I don't think they're obligated to accept it, but if you've been missing payments they're more likely to as some money is better than you going bankrupt and them getting nothing.
    Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81
    Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off
    Met NIM 23/06/2008
