Blimey, that is a massive deterrant to going to A&E. What happens if you don't have enough money to pay them? Do they just kick you out?
If you have no money or plastic cards with you, they send you out a bill and then lots of reminders and if you don't pay it ends up with a debt collection agency!! My kids play a lot of sport and we had 4 trips with them to A & E last year plus one with himself getting kicked in head by cow and 6 stitches in forehead! €500!! Although we may get some back on our private medical insurance but that costs €2500 per year!!
Because of scar DH's nickname is now Harry Potter!! :rotfl:0 -

Vintage43 - you can ask for interest to be stopped if you're entering into a DMP, be that self created or through a charity/company. I don't think they're obligated to accept it, but if you've been missing payments they're more likely to as some money is better than you going bankrupt and them getting nothing.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
