and good luck with your phone calls - i did this a while ago and it really helped with my budgeting
Thankyou - Yes I did it a few years ago and made me feel much better -but have somehow ended up nearly getting like that again as the house I am in now is bigger more expensive etc etc {however I am much happier living here than in the dump I was in} Unfortunately only managed to make one call off my list - however payed my bt bill - and didnt get charged a late fee - so I am happy with that
..Also phoned landlord the other day and arranged a different rent date to pay due to me always struggling for 2 weeks of the year due to it - so major weight lifted off my shoulders with that too now
Will ring the others today
Also Fairy - I have 2 ideas of what topic to start blogs on and had a quick search the other day on the basics of doing one - Think I wlil start with the easier topic to get into it thow.. What I don't know is how do you earn money from it ? Do you have to sign up with a certain website etc etc ..all advice on this would be great please ?
And what is swagbucks ? could you send me an invite please?
Yesterday I only did 3 things off my list - However for my second day doing this I have now got 10 smiles:D So I am now smiling as its an improvement
todays- Complete ms form
- Ring british gas
- Ring water company
- walk the dog

I've had quite a productive day really, though still haven't done the things i need to do  I don't know why i am finding it so hard to sort out some prices for postage costs and email them through to people on facebook
- I have to do that tomorrow - nothing else is going on my list until that bit is done!!
today i have managed to catch up on quite a few of my survey sites - i started at the top of my email inbox and kept going until they were all attempted at least - no idea how many different ones i did!!
sites i know i have done are:
superpoints, swagbucks, woohoo, one poll, my survey, crown bingo, jpj
Cashed out £30 on s & s
claimed £5 on my survey
Started knitting a doggy jumper to auction off for animal connexions charity - main part of it done and should have it finished by tomorrow.
so thats a lovely round 10for me today!

Hi guys
I really need to join you on this. I'm always joining threads / challenges and never managing to stick to them.
My ten positive things for the day will mainly be financial / householdy
[STRIKE]1. Take a binliner of clothes to the recycle shop. [/STRIKE]
2. Dye my hair (I don't like them silver threads in it)
[STRIKE]3. Change my bedding[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]4. Clean the bathroom[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]5. Make a curry for tea so we don't have the temptation to get a takeaway[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]6. Write a 7-day menu plan[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]7. Make sure both kids football kits are ready for tomorrow[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]8. Clean the side upstairs window (I was embarrassed when I sat in my neighbours house and saw the state of it from next door!)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]9. Make a small PAD hopefully with profits from recycling shop[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]10. re-start my own diary on MSE[/STRIKE].
Even if I don't get all of these done, at least I am not sat on my backside x
Update
Really could not get motivated to dye my hair, particularly when I had just cleaned the bathroom!
Found a voile panel, and a curtain rod and not only did I clean the window and paintwork and UPVC but I also put a curtain up. It's a bit lopsided inside but looks fine from outside.
Didn't make a PAD as such, but I put the £5 from recycling the two bin bags of clothes / shoes, in a separate handbag and this will go towards DS1's Spanish school trip which I still have £135 to pay by 2nd March.
Changed the bedding and couldn't believe it when I saw that DH's MP3 player had been washed, tumble dried and STILL WORKS! The ear phone wires are all tangled up though.
Not only did I do a 7-day meal plan, but I ordered all the ingredients online from Tesco and it only came to £44.70 including delivery..
I've also re-posted on my own diary and as well as joining the 10 positive thread, I have pledged to the February grocery challenge one.Emergency savings: £0 saved / £4000 target0 -
Sunday pledges
[STRIKE]1. Go and watch both children play football (if it is on - if it isn't then I pledge to do 3 hours worth of housework)[/STRIKE]
2. [STRIKE]Get the uniforms washed and dried[/STRIKE], get the school bags ready.
[STRIKE]3. Check internet banking and update spreadsheet.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]4. Update the '10 positive' thread and update the Grocery Challenge and my own thread if I need to.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]5. Collect anything that needs washing from various floors and bedrooms and make sure it is all in once place.[/STRIKE]
6. If there is any clothes to put away - do it.
[STRIKE]7. Read for a minimum of 30 minutes (too many books waiting to be read, and I spent far too much time on the interweb). [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]8. Squat some money in my handbag in PAD stylee for school trip[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]9. Dye my hair[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]10. Update my newly created food diary HONESTLY and as ACCURATELY as possible.[/STRIKE]Emergency savings: £0 saved / £4000 target0 -
