Hi all
New thread here
I've had a lovely day out with my friend in a local market town where I used to live, did all our little errands. I got hairspray for £2 which I was pleased with, and blagged £1.14 worth of free Boots points (basically receipt wasn't validated...due to it not being mine, but hey ho, got my points!). We had coffee which I didn't pay for as she owed me the money from my last few cigs in a pack she sold to her friend for me, so that was a bonus! And we had lunch in a pub where due to a complaint I had last time, I had buy one main and get one free voucher from the manager. So paid £6.20 for full meal and a half of bitter! Yum! We had a steak burger and a veggie burger and split them half and half, sooooooo good, was a lovely treat! Then went back to hers for a coffee via Card Factory in her town, and got my friends daughter a lovely thick quality card for 29p for her 2nd birthday this month! And my dad's birthday card (£1.49 but it was the most appropriate one!), and even a Mother's Day card since I was there, for 89p!
So had a lovely day for about a tenner, very pleased.
Now home and in joggers with all make up removed, ready to have a lovel chilled out relaxing evening. Bliss. Saturdays don't get much better than that!

Green week for me too. I spent a fiver at work yesterday paying up until May in the numbers draw we do at work (fundraising for a trip to Kenya so I feel obliged).
So I declare I spent £18.99 of my £30 target this week and am in the green. I'll aim for £20 next week and hope that it'll be significantly less than that.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -
