Had a rubbish day at work. No spare time - left really late, went to KFC on the way home. Spent £13.99 on dinner for the four of us. Kind of worth it because it was relatively quick and I can get an early night and try and sleep my migraine off.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -

Urgh, so...tired!
12.5 hours tomorrow and Friday and then the blessed weekend...it cannot come quick enough!!!
Annoyingly lost 3 hours of my working day today due to having to do a scenario of a disaster, it was interesting but that's effectively worth all the overtime I did this evening, so don't feel ahead of myself!!! Obviously part of the working day though, so not like I lost money.
Although...it was over lunch time and as we weren't in the office and everyone was starving we got sandwiches from the garage. So £2.69 spent. However, I had just over £3 left in my food budget this week, so thankfully covered it from there! On the not so good side, I bought 10 cigs, and they definitely come from this budget!!! It was a very stressful day for me today, no particular reason, just didn't have a good day. Overall though, I am doing ok - just think of all the cigs I HAVEN'T had!!! hehe excuses...
Sun 8 Jan - £3.80 pub (was meant to be coffee!!!)
Mon 9 Jan - work 0745-2000, £1.85 sandwich lady (still within WW points though!)
Tue 10 Jan - AL, £5 M&S Griddle Pan
Wed 11 Jan - work 0745-2000, cigs £3.60
Planned Thu 12 Jan - True NSD, work 0730-2000
Planned Fri 13 Jan - Starbucks £3.10, work 0730-2000
Total so far: £14.25/£15
Hmm. If I get my Starbucks on Friday I'll go over budget. Unless they'll take a luncheon voucher which I still haven't tried there. (It's a franchise so funny about vouchers etc). As have to be in work 0730 to ensure I get all my overtime hours in that I've already been paid for, I could get away with not going... actually I think I'll do that. Will save calories (points!) and money!!! RESOLVE!
Night all, seriously need sleep!
LC
Ooo, PS, I used my new griddle pan today to griddle courgette and yellow pepper slices to go with my tuna jacket and they were GREAT!!! Soooooo worth a fiver!!!
PPS - pp, are you training for something in particular?

Pointypenguin it depends really, the shoes cost me about £80, then there was the harness that I got in the sale, and my Dad bought me a carrabina and belay device so they were free. You just wear comfortable clothing other than that. It costs £12 a go or you can pay monthly at £45 a go. I really enjoy it but I need to find a climbing partner if I want to go regularly. Going to wait for my OH to move to London in 18 months then go more often. Great fun and exercise though, both body and mind.

Monday - NSD
Tuesday - NSD
Wednesday - £1 tea fund at work, £4.88 posting ebay parcels, 12p into 'dross jar' = £6.00
£12/£6
posting parcels ALWAYS costs more than I anticipate. It's a good job I put a little extra on when I put the p&p on in ebay for packaging etc or I'd be out of pocket. Today I broke even - just

LC I have used luncheon vouchers in Starbucks with no issues at all as I get them from surveys I do. Try it, no harm in having a go and the starbucks logo is on the back of the vouchers so I doubt they will refuse.
I started running to get fit and my friend is trying to get me to do a 10k in May. I am not committing yet until I have done a few more weeks training and getting to the point where I can run for any significant period (maybe 10-15 mins) without stopping.
kerri the climbing sounds good I have done it a couple of times and there are a couple of good places in Glasgow that do it, one is a converted church.
saorsie you are doing well this week.:T
freebyfifty I am always surprised on how much postage costs. Stamps cost a fortune nowadays maybe it is because I don't buy them often they always seem to have gone up since the last time.
My spends today were £3 on breakfast and coffee at work.
Total so far £9.50 / £20
I am going for lunch with my friend tomorrow hopefully just a sandwich place near work tomorrow so I think £10.50 should be doable.
