  • And i know its been mentioned before, but found some Pantene reduced as it was the old packaging. No SELs so scanned everything with the old packaging. Store only had smaller 250ml bottles and were between 50p and £2! Took all the 50p ones but I'm too mean to pay more! Next store was random too so best to try all with a scanner if you can

Ill post my last post on this new thread in case anyone will miss it, but get down to sainsbury locals 2 morra christmas stock are going to go very low prices. All the chocolates around 10p inc snow bits lindt bags, boxes of fingers and festive friends, cards and wrapping paper and tags for around 25p and 10p, and crackers 1.00. Really are some great deals ive just printed the tickets off for my store today ready for the morning, oh and the gift sets ie lynx and that 50p this will happen in all locals good luck.
Sorry to quote my own post but these reductions will only be in local stores not the big ones, and it is only to sell through all the christmas stock as we are small stores we need the room very quickly for more stock. But there really will be some good bargains around we have quite a bit of stock left including chocs, cards, tags, biscuits, mince pies ,and christmas cake, and a few gift sets so happy hunting guys just thought id give you the heads up.

, but thought must be put into this 1st though as the guy may well lose his job for having a bit of fun. that after all was caused by the customers not him.

I agree, the guy was having a bit of fun, no biggie!!
I've seen this happen in my store too when there are too many people after them, the management just wheel it all out the back and then wheel it out again with a small reduction so it gets left. SOMETIMES the rowdies will then go home and if you lurk around long enough they do reduce it later...but not always.

Some of the staff just walk off and leave it if they get mobbed now. To be fair they are not paid enough to stand getting pushed and shoved and cussed at.

Again agree, you can't blame the store for some people's behavior!

I could see it happening in my local xmas eve around 4.....load of peeps lurking around the RTC shelf waiting to pounce...didn't even bother waiting, got what I wanted and left..... as I have said before I'm not gonna roll around in the the blood, the mud and the beer for 5p sausage roll!!:p
