Thanks everyone for your good wishes....well its official, cheques posted and phone calls all made, Im officially debt free:T. It felt soooo good to phone my credit card and say "I'd like to clear my balance and close my account please" NEVER thought that was going to happen!! I've set a little aside to spend on myself (no idea what Im gonna do with it as I never buy myself anything) so checking out the sales this weekend seems in order:D. DH still has a few bills to pay but we've figured out we should be completely debt free in 9 months. Still shocked and stunned, but with a stupid big grin on my face:D
Sending good luck out there to everyone, a massive group hug to you all
    lend me a fiver :rotfl:
    So pleased for you :T:T

Evening everyone, sorry I haven't been posting much (though I am sure I have not been missed :p), Still having the bad headaches :(

    Message from HC's FB:
    Drinks are on me tonight!

*puts pound in honesty box* and I want change!

It had better be from the manager's dtd stash then. Let's think - Baileys, Turner Road, Magners.... anyone?
    Hope is not a strategy.

Der I can't find the original post to quote I know it's from CalmSpirit and I would like to offer my entry into the

"Most 1p items scanned while SA deals with unexpected item in bagging area at Till 4"

With 48 1p items at once!

Proof can be provided if necessary, and there were no other items in my trolley to conceal my activities to trout-eyes.

I would also add, for bonus points, this is a store with NO SCANNER, add to that I also asked a miserable SA to scan some of my things, all recalled on his scanner but what the hell lets have a go - all went through at 1p!!!:T:T:T

Do I win anything? Although my pride is enough!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

    And get lots of glitches!

If you live near Telford or Staines, may be worth extra visits to your Homeplus store as T is hoping to close these down fairly quickly/as soon as they can relet the stores, but no idea of the actual timescale for this.

They have announced that they are phasing out the whole Homeplus chain, so all stores will be gradually closed down

"There are Home Plus stores in Bracknell, Bristol, Chelmsford, Chester, Manchester, Edinburgh, Nottingham, Preston, Southampton, Staines, Telford and Bromborough in Wirral."

    Press release http://www.google.com/hostednews/ukpress/article/ALeqM5hX9RZIaF6RwsDeO3TY2-nSY1054A?docId=N0072231327309072752A

I didn't get to Homeplus that often because it was too far away for me, but there were often bargains to be had. Very sad news for the staff at these stores.

Still no news on HC's appeal?
I think the MOD's are acting like spoilt brats (just my opinion)
