Sorry, thinking out loud, i also dont think it has anything to do with the cheap mcvities things as they were only 10p so would not make up the discount, if it was cheapest free id have only got 70p off. Getting

When it was the OEP glitch did it take off the price of something we had bought or was it a completely random amount (I can't remember). Probably could do with looking at everything you bought - would be great to have something like that happen again.

Can you explain two things, modem in a fridge freezer and sewing the corners of duvets together? Both are confusing the hell out of me, ta muchly :D

    :j:j:j:j:j:j:j Yeay Sharon!!

Absolutely rubbish idea! The reason Tesco sales took a nosedive is probably a - because everyone else did and b - because of their underhand sales tactics! People are wise to being swindled these days!

Plus what are they basing their research on? The immediate geographic area i.e. 3 mile radius? That's not going to be indicative of who shops there! Knowing Tesco they'll balls it up and get it completely wrong!

I want to have 2 duvets in one duvet cover as its freezing. They always roll up inside the cover. When I safety pinned em, they came undone!! Hence, I have seen the corners of the duvets together to stop em rolling up when in the covers :)

The modem on the freezer is because it connects with the national grid to use power when demand is low. I am taking part in a consumer trial in which I get to keep the snazzy appliance after a twelve month period :T

It took it off for cadburys which we never bought so could be anything, think we would need a list of items that were bought to figure it out. Hope there a glitch coming :)

  • Haha, not a stupid statement & I actually did get down & have a good check that the wheel was not falling off!!!lol Its a Freelander 52 about 60000miles, we've had it for 6 years & its always made a clunk when you drive over pot holes or speed bumps on that side, I have no idea about cars but to me it sounds like metal hitting metal, as tho the suspension is not doing its job. If that makes sense. But this morning it sounded so much worse!
Just thought a similar issue was posted last week:)

My 2000 VW Golf has always had a knocking sound. It's the suspension bushes, nothing (for me) to worry about, according to the 3 or 4 mechanics I've mentioned it to. Not cost effective to get it fixed.

Take yer coats off, i think ive worked it out. I got 6 frozen meals that should have been £2 for 2 the offer didnt come off so i got a small dtd, the meals were £1.25 each so i would have had 2 x £1.25 making £2.50 so seems i got a different offer and a small dtd!

Would that make sense? The dessert bit threw me. Dont be mad, i thoguht id found us a minus producing deal :(

    Hey jj,
This is where i am strugglin.
Nothing was £2.50 so its a combination of items to that total.

Was anything reduced but that was £2.50 before it was reduced?

    G'day everyone!

Excellent nwes sharon, you must be soooo relieved! As others have said treat yourself to a nice meal out or something you deserve a treat! :)

How are you and your car now FK? I noticed you have been a bit down in the dumps recently. Did you ever get any answers from your doctor, following the blood tests?

i'm never using them again either, bank told me it would only be a few days for my new debit card but im not holding my breath as i thought it waould take 1-2 weeks like you it took 10 days!!

i did manage to get £30 out of it before it kept my card but ive already spent £25 so ive only got a £5 left, do you think if i go into my bank with a statement and id they could just let me get cash out of my account?

If you have a cheque book, you can write out a cheque payable to cash, for the amount you need and hand this to the cashier with ID etc.
    hth :)
