Finally caught up but as per too shattered to stay on and have still to do DH's wages return, so off to scan time sheets, send off email and get to my bunk:)

Drinks are on me as we are so quiet, help yourself and the money is already in the honesty box.

    Night night all.

Sorry to hear about your t's trip today Fudge :(, although don't worry about the 28 day return policy.
Firstly, any purchases made from, Nov 11th (or thereabouts) are subject to the christmas extended returns policy and can be returned up to 31st Jan.
Also any electrical item that is faulty, will have a 1 year guarantee from T's (will be on the bottom of the receipt, shown as a barcode)
So you still have another 337 days left :D
And finally, if you have a direct counter or collection point and the item is available online, you should be able to order and then exchange when it arrives or ask for a refund onto a giftcard to then order the item at the direct desk (I have seen this happen with no probs).
    hth :)

    Hello fellow Fudge :hello::rotfl:

So pleased to see your post as it reminded me to go back and read your post about your poor Dad which I saw various comments on but hadn't seen the original post until now :) Wow!! Your Dad (and yourself and your family) has been through so so much!:( You poor things, it must be so difficult to see him suffering so terribly. I'm really glad that he seems to be on an upward climb and admire the strength you all have to deal with this. Please keep us updated, I will be thinking of you and sending my best wishes :Axx

And thank you very much for the info regarding T's. Will see how I get on :)

Also sending hugs to 3Dogs (sounds like you've had a bloomin awful day, poor Mr 3Dogs and Billy too :() Blondynurse, FK (Any news? I would imagine not over the weekend but you never know, so thought I'd ask:)) and to anyone else that needs them :Axx

I'm going to watch Remember Me (unfortunately in the mood for a good cry) so I shall say goodnight to the late shifters, declining numbers tonight I see! Night all :) xx

I think the winter blues has finally caught up with me. Felt very flat past couple of days. Even fancied opening a bottle of wine tonight but resisted. Might have an earlyish night tonight.

Where you off to in the summer, have you decided?
  • Actually I think I'm gonna fill a pan with milk and make myself a hot chocolate so thick I can stand the spoon up in it!!! :)

Yes, Know what you mean. November is normally my low month but January this year is not as forward looking as normal. Glad to see you are resisting the wine, giving your liver a bit of a rest:)

For summer hols we are looking at the Dordogne/Lot but as usual have left it a bit late to get the choice of Gites at reasonable prices. Never been to that part of France before as it's very popular with Brits and prices reflect it

We've booked a summer holiday :j :j :j Not had one for quite a few years now :( The last time 2 of our MSE friends visited I suggested that we book a cottage for them and other MSE friend and share the cost. Well they discussed it and booked us a lovely cottage nr Tavistock for a week at the start of the summer holidays (one is a college tutor so has to be in school hols) so we are all looking forward to it :j :j It will cost us £90 per person for a week from 14th July, which ain't back at all :money: :money: it is so good to have something like this to look forward to

I know MSE are against exchanging details and meeting other MSE'ers, but it worked out great for us. Mr 3Dogs and I met Kit about 18 months ago when we visited a fellow member in hospital, and then she met up with Steve and Andy, and we finally all got together. We have had many weekends staying down on the south coast with Kit, and with Steve & Andy, and they have visited us up here too, and we all get on like a house on fire, offering support and encouragement to each other. Whilst I would be the first to agree that some people are not as they seem on such websites, bad experiences there, most people are genuine and life-long friendships can come out of posting on forums such as these

Glad to see that worked out for you:). We always used to holiday in Devon/Corwall and used to camp but now getting a bit used to a bit more luxury. We've not had a holiday for a couple of years but with OH still teaching we are tied to college hols when prices are high (and as an MSEr I am of course very tight:rotfl:) Looking forward to OH retiring soon so that we can take some holidays without having to pay through the nose:).
