Just use butter/marg and icing sugar if you want to colour it use the paste/gel colouring not the liquid ones and once you have make the icing pop it into the piping bag and leave in the fridge for 5-10 mins :)

I think that's where I've gone wrong, I've put in liquid food colouring :(

I've run out of icing sugar, but hopefully the bf will be on his way home with some more shortly :)

If you have no gel/paste colouring and want a slight colour on the icing use something else dry ie milkshake powder/angel delight/cocoa powder it wont give a very deep colour though

Yes neosi they are the right ones. Still some people finding them 1p. Most of us had luck in Express stores at first. But mine never restocked. And then they finally appeared in my Extra. Hope you find some and if you do that they are 1p. ;)

Gosh I paid just over 5 times that. :rotfl:

Well done on the tool bag find that looks fab. I know just the person who would like one of those, will have to hunt that one down.
  • Hi everybody I hope you have all had a fab weekend, I went to Mr T metro yesterday and got mini Christmas puddings that should have been £1.30 at 10p expiry date March 2013. Also they were selling big Christmas cakes off that were £10 for 50p however the expiry date was Aug 2012. I also got three lots of gift pack toiletries for £1.25. might be worth checking it out. I have not been able to get to a bigger Mr T this week. I have been getting my reduced goods from Mr S. I've had a good week which is good as pay day doesn't come until the end of this week.
I hope the weather has improved in your area is it a lot calmer here now.

Hey sis you're getting good at hunting stuff out lol how big is a metro compared to others cos i don't think i've seen one local to me:)

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.

    Afternoon all

Just back from a couple of Tesco's in the hope of finding Me to You stuff, the first Tesco had a scanner, and me and OH must have scanned the whole shop :rotfl:

Found absolutely nothing :( tried for the illooms, me to you blueish stuff, the learn books for children, we found a Technica Radio, but it was the black one and scanned at the same price as SEL.

On the second Tesco I found my first 4p Littliest Pet Shop :T:T:T OH was doing the self scan and I had a waterfall cardigan on and the bottom was sitting on the scale saying 'unexpected item in bagging area' so I moved away and let him scan, I said how did you get on with LPS, he looked in the bag and said I don't have it! I looked back to the basket and he had left it in there  I quickly scanned it through trying not to attract attention to the 4p item !

Home now with a cuppa, this glitching business is tiring work :A

Locarr made some butter last night and today used it to make one of Jumblejacks 2oz sponge cakes with the LO's help while Mrs Locar had the afternoon off to have lunch with friends!
