Our dearest one is 50p or £2 for a season ticket, I do enjoy my "booties" and can often fit in 5-6 in a weekend :D

Sorry for dumb question but what kind of prices do they charge for stuff at car boot sale - I have kids books, puzzles, toys clothes etc but do no if it's worth car booting or not?

Don't worry its possible I didn't explain properly as I think my post was late at night and I think I was half asleep. I will pass on that lens suggestion :D He has 3 lenses and two are broke :( so probably not get much for them, but he should be getting a little extra money for selling a phone he won for being the best customer service advisor (see they aren't all bad whoever it was that posted that ;) ).

When I first got a beef joint from my butcher he told me to put half an inch of water in bottom of roasting thing but that wasn't a shoulder just a normal joint so may not help much sorry :o

Actually fudge don't see why you can't cook it in a roasting tin with oil but it might be a bit "tough"

    Hi Fudge2

If you don't want it done in stock, then I would season it, wrap it loosely in foil, and just let it cook slowly in it's own juices.

BTW I've never heard of beef shoulder...lamb or pork yes...beef no!!

:T thanks for your help everyone, my mum just turned up out of the blue so asked her what to do , she's not a brilliant cook either though , may just pull it out shortly and get that tin foil wrapped round it, thanks everyone, i'll post pic later if it doesn't go horribly wrong :o

That's really a how long is a bit of string question;)It varies on what they are, condition and who's willing to pay what. I always price everything a bit higher than I want and then take a lower price;) I always do well when I do one but it just depends on so many different things tbh:)

clothes are normally 50p upwards. books 20p, toys depending on their size. large ones £5,smaller £2.50
