One for the boys maybe, just seen on HUKD Home brewing kits down from £11 to £2 something in T's, might be store specific but worth a look if that's your thing (Not telling my OH,garage will end up like a brewery!!!!)

    Good afternoon everyone,

A quick cooking question for all you experts out there if I may.
I have a whoopsied slow roast beef shoulder joint, the instruction suggest slow roating in either wine or stock. I don't like wine (and not allowed alchohol at the mo) and don't like any kind of stock of gravy (neither does OH).
Can I just do this like a normal joint, in a roasting pan with oil etc?

Any help would be appreciated, I am useless at cooking unless it involves baking cakes :o

Ah I see now. His D40 is a nice camera anyway and technically better than a bridge camera......which by the way is a bridge between a point and shoot camera and a proper camera like a D40.

I like the idea of being able to put a camera in a pouch on my belt to go walkign or cycling but still be able to get good shots. A bridge camera ticks all those boxes. I had for some reason thought you was looking for a camera to fit a bunch of old lenses. Sorry for being presumptuous.

Re. lenses, the 18-200 VR lens is a bagful all in one lens and top notch. 500 quid but you can throw all the other lenses on ebay and never take this off the camera. :)
Don't worry its possible I didn't explain properly as I think my post was late at night and I think I was half asleep. I will pass on that lens suggestion :D He has 3 lenses and two are broke :( so probably not get much for them, but he should be getting a little extra money for selling a phone he won for being the best customer service advisor (see they aren't all bad whoever it was that posted that ;) ).

When I first got a beef joint from my butcher he told me to put half an inch of water in bottom of roasting thing but that wasn't a shoulder just a normal joint so may not help much sorry :o

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)

Actually fudge don't see why you can't cook it in a roasting tin with oil but it might be a bit "tough"
