Can anyone point me in the direction of the boots glitch? And whats the number 7 voucher? I need to buy some of their new BB cream as it makes my skin look so much better although the roaccutane is working already me thinks.

Anyone good with rashes? When I was peeling some spuds the other day my hand really started to itch and came up with loads of pinprick red dots, felt like it was on fire. It has calmed down but keeps flaring up,skin feels slightly dry. Any ideas?

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)
  • If anyones leggin it to Tesco for the chocs look out for Vienetta scanning at 38p!

    Thanks to op on HUKD

I was on hols when I was about 13, took my brother to the campsite shop (he was 4) for some sweets, he tried to ask for something behind the counter but she couldn't understand him (he and my other brother both needed speech therapy to learn how to form their words), he said it again to me and I of course knew what he was saying and asked for the item. I handed over the money, at which point she asked me if he was slightly !!!!!!! I said no he wasn't and went back to the caravan telling my mum the woman in the shop had asked if he was mentally !!!!!!!

My mum marched us up to the shop and had a right go (at least in her reserved don't-lose-your-temper-in-public kind of way!) and I remember being offered sweets to say sorry and being apologised to. I wished then and I wish now I could have said what I really wanted to - refused the sweets and told the woman where to stick her bribes! I didn't have the guts back then though!

The thing is, back in those days such terms were common place. Even the term !!!!!! wasn't overly frowned upon. That was all before society as a whol became more educated and understanding of such things.

If the lady in question thinks back not to that day all those years ago, I bet she'd be very embarrased. She apologised and that was nice.....many wouldn't have even bothered back then.

Tried the Boots glitch today but the SA only scanned 5 energy drinks, so I lost out on £1.99 plus I was overcharged £1 on something. Couldn't exactly ask for my money back. Lol

Edit: My mistake, didn't lose out on £1.99, the receipt is very confusing.
    Still overcharged £1 tho.
    :(

  • well HO phone me back, they contacted the manager, who says they have proof that ive had the money. i told her to tell the manager, i want to see the proof. as ive a bank statement to show i havent recieved the £70. strangly enough the manager was going off shift soon!!!!!! so tomorrow i am going to the bank, to get a letter/proof to say the bank have never recieved the money. i.e its not stuck in their system somewhere. then gonna hit tesco hard.

I thought you said they gave you the difference? I'm confused now. Did they refund you the difference or nothing?
