When you (or perhaps it was someone else) said about driving on notorious roads in Belfast and being scared, I wondered how bad these roads could be, and were they like the horrible Lake District passes that are scarily narrow and steep, didn't occur to me for a minute you might be referring to the troubles!

    D'oh!

    It was caz.
I'm in and out of them all the time but must admit the first time I did I was nervous but my DH told me that the vast majority of people don't care who or what you were and not to worry, this eased my mind and made me relax a good bit.
My problem was I'd been working in the city centre for too long and on many occasions when there had been bomb alerts and remembered the fear I'd felt then for many of my staff (I was the company's youngest manager at 19yrs old) trying to get them to our safe place. That fear doesn't leave you, you just learn to live with it.

Just a quick post and I'll catch up after I make dinner....Happymum, you can sllep easy tonight knowing that the last of the 1p andrex has been rescued from L*rg*n:rotfl:, Thanks for that. Also there were loads of the snowglobes with an sel of £11.00 so took a chance and it went through at 27p:T(hate stores with no scanners). Tons of clipstrips with no prices:mad: but no way (or time ) to check them. Feel like a mooch round the Extra store now though it'll have to wait, DH and DD are yelling for food, just threw some crisps at them both:rotfl:

Sorry everyone, my first official 'mission' for 11+MSErs and ive failed to help:(

My local express had NO 100g bags of cadbury mini eggs, not even a space for them, they had little 45g boxes, 150g tubes and a mega sized bag, so unable to confirm anything for you lot.

They did have bags of 100g lindt mini eggs, bar code ending 2408, but they were £2.50 each or 2 for £3 and scanned correctly im afraid:(

Hope to help with the next hunt though:)

Hope the docs has some good news for you SD, I had mentioned earlier about driving in the city scaring the carp outta me but I meant as in I hate the traffic and it seems every time I head into Belfast theres a new road, one way system.......The troubles part of it never fazed me, I think growing up in it does that, thank goodness its different now and my kids dont have to worry about it
