Hello HC. Please come back soon. We (I) miss your banter.
Love you loads. :T:T:T0 -
Evening everyone, just caught up with the thread once again.
Sorry to hear about HC.
Hope that he is allowed to come back.
Managed to get to my local T yesterday. Was only supposed to be doing a bit of shopping for my dad.
Saw the croc odor on clip strip, but could not remember the end bar code that was posted. There is not self scanner in this store so could not check it.
Put one in my trolley along with rest of shopping. Went through a manned till and it went through for 1p:D.
As I was leaving the store I wondered whether to go back and get a few more, I noticed the weetabix that another poster had mentioned was scanning at a lower price.
So I went and got 2 boxes and some more of the croc odor. This time I went through a SS till.
Weetabix scanned at £1.49:D. Croc odor all went through at 1p, person on SS tills never said a word or tried to take them off me...
Thanks once again for everyone's contribution on here. :T'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle'0 -

Just spoken to HO at boots. The offer of a free shot was supposed to be on their more expensive items, but they didn't realise it would count towards their least expensive (79p) The offer will continue for as long as their offer states. (whanever that might be) So, Keep checking your stores, as, as soon as they've restocked, the chance is there (if you can beat me to it!!!)

One of my little ones is poorly with an upset stomach. She's been sick about 5 times...nothing from the other end
(sorry if TMI!) Never had anything like this before, hasn't eaten any grass and it seems that what she's bringing up is all that she's eaten today. She's a little quiet but was fine when we went on a walk. It seems like just an upset stomach to me but what would you do? When would you re-introduce food? And would you do bland chicken and rice or suchlike for a day or 2 to begin with? Thank you very much in advance. I'm sure she'll be fine but she's my baby and of course I worry!
xx
Definitely just a little boiled rice and chicken, very small portions, two or three times a day and then build it up. And lots of fresh water if you can get them to drink. If the condition persists, then obviously get it checked out. ( Advice from our vet over the years, and it's sound). HTH.Hope is not a strategy.0 -
Evening all, hope you all had a great day, i went to the Boots sale, but to be honest was really dissapointed as there was next to nothing left, yet when i went in last night there was loads there - apparently people had been in just clearing the shelfs with a sweep of their arms, i got in there approx 9.30am and only christmas stuff, Gu chocolates and lavender smellies left, so instead i picked up 15 energy shots and 15 vitamins and stocked up on wet wipes and Gu chocolates - as you do!!
Went to M&S and got a couple of Bras and a pack of nick naks for a quid and 50p respectively. Also picked up a couple of pairs of mens PJ's for FIL as needing them whilst in hospital - and only £4!!
Then on to Mr T's picked up a disney princess pencil case set for 36p and also stocked up on the Ken Hom that is 2 x main meals and 2 x sides for a fiver - excellent value!!!
As i was leaving i had a phone call from OH - the news is my FIL has a brain tumour - don't know what type or if they will operate or what treatment will be undertaken yet - still waiting to hear back from specialists, but have been told we will know for sure tomorrow, as they were waiting for a few of them to get together today and look over the MRI scans etc. and decide what will happen next. I rang the hospital and spoke to FIL and he was full of beans, said food was great and could he have his glasses so he can see what the nurses look like - he said they sound lovely but can't be too sure as can't see them ( he is also partially sighted), i asked him if i could take him anything in when i go home on friday and he said a bus ticket out of there - i said its not that bad is it? he said no, but people die in places like this and he wants to make sure he gets his pension for the month first!! - still got a great sense of humour!! i told him i was trying to get cover so i could get home earlier, but he said i should stay where i was as there are bills that need paying and he doesn't want me to get into debt for his sake - love him xxxVery proud to be Strip club member No 430 -

How's this for a question!??
9. Okra and 4550 are two types of green vegetable that kids usually will not eat.
That's it, the whole question (apparently, although it is a statement). Underneath were 4 other vegetables and I just clicked randomly.
I tried to comment on the question but was told I wasn't logged in? Anyone know what I should have done, for next time?
; the answer is Brussels Sprout.
4550 is the International Produce Look-up Code for them.
I thought everyone knew that.
