Evening everyone, hope you are all ok and those that went to Boots didnt get too battered and bruised! Have a lot of catching up to do, not sure if it has already been mentioned but the
Dettol Handwash system and the refills are both half price in Morrisons at the moment. I know some have been refilling the refill but you may want to go and buy one.
Oh and thanks Karlie88 my wine arrived today Yay!!!
Any news on HC - it really is not quite the same on here without him. ((HUGS)) HC if you are lurking. If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -
That's the only one I can't fit in on my round trip. What sort of stuff did they have. Missed getting any hair stuff sets this year, trevor sorbie and the likes. Only Umberto Giannia where I went whoever he or she is and probably spelt that wrong.
Better apologise to 11+ers for going over to the other side for a bit. Mr T is just not doing it for me at the moment.

It's taken me many months to settle into retirement and we have had a lot work done to the house. The good news is that the builders have nearly finished building my new Medicine Cabinet in the kitchen.
Here, take a look...
Cheers!
Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.
The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.
Pedro Ximinez Sweet Sherry is a very good pick me up! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Trouted at boots, I wasn't sure how much the item was supposed to cost (the one to stop you going into minus) so I thought I would get some of the new BB cream as it made my skin look wonderful however SA freaked out when it all come to 9.87, put it through another till, same total, called someone over who tried putting it through in various ways, in the end she decided to not scan the shots, didnt know what to say so i ended up using an old pre pay card and obviously didnt have enough queue rant about not being paid etc and left. Second shop had no shots at all so I give up! All I want is the new BB cream but I refuse to pay £13 for it!
Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0 -

DTD is only a Ts policy - their way of 'making up' for the fact that they have overcharged you..a goodwill gesture if you like....it DOES NOT affect your statutory rights.
Therefore, on the back of your reciept it says if you change your mind you can return the item within 28 days (unused/in same packaging etc etc)....so you can do this, technically without having to give any reason, other than you've changed your mind.
H/O will advise you of the same thing if you have any problems in store....they will also state that your refund will be the amount that the item scans at ...so if it scans at the higher price now, then thats what you'll get...if it scans lower than the amount it originally shouldve been (ie because its now in the sale), then you will still get back the amount you paid as per your reciept.
I've taken items back that I've actually been paid to take ot of the store - once because the item was faulty and once because the item was a gift for my mum (phone) and she'd already been and bought the same one. Both times I had no problems and despite various things scribbled across the reciept, I got the full amount back as a refund both times.
If you feel uncomfortable using the receipt, then just take the item back and say it was an unwanted present - they should give you a giftcard for the value instead.
hth
None of my locals will give a gift card, they insist that you pick something from the same dept if you don't have a reciept. I wonder if it's just NI because have done this in a few stores now with the DTD Bakugan and none have offered a gift card only an exchange.
Please let me know if this would be Tesco policy of giving the gift cardSPC #329 £471/£500 banked
SPC 2014 £1100:D
