I had a bedside cupboard from them last week, there should have been two and I mentioned it to the Yodel bloke who just shrugged.
Went online to track the missing one and he had marked it delivered.
Rang and made a fuss and they said it would turn up in a couple of days.
While I was at work the next day the Yodel man came with the missing cupboard and asked DIL for the other as there was one to return.
She didn't know any better and gave it back to him!!!
Now they are out of stock and I only have one!!!!!!!!0 -
There is a weetabix coupon on the first page of the coupon thread, 30p off, but unfortunatley it's for the 24s only.0

Did anyone else read the post from West is Best then think the text on the rest of the page was rather small :rotfl:
Ohhh the good old days and I was a late 70s baby. I walked or cycled everywhere and rarely watched TV. I was bucked out when I'd had my brekkie and made up excuses to not have to go in for dinner. Mind you, those were the days when no-one knew there was an underbelly of society like we have now. Thinking back, my bro & I used to go up to a local wood and climb trees, capture crickets and put them in big sweetie jars and generally have loads of fun. There's 2 problems with that scenario these days:
1. the wood is now a Ts (that's good and bad at the same time!)
2. I wouldn't let my kids go that far from home
There was a graphic in one of the national rags a couple of years ago showing how things have changed over the years in terms of how far parents let their kids go from home. I'll have a look later and see if I can find it but basically it was saying that back in my parents day they were allowed out unsupervised for miles & miles yet by the time my kids will be big enough, they'll not be allowed beyond the front gates.
ZX Spectrum - that's what got me into computers and eventually led to my profession. I remember my dad showing me how to write a short program that converted temperatures from C to F. It was all downhill from there
I used to love flying downhill on skateboards, bikes, skooters and skates (my folks couldn't afford new ones so I had my mums old ones that were metal and extended - think someone called them gnashers earlier). Those were the days alright0
