Evening all, I'm looking for some help from the slow cooker gang. I did my meatballs and sauce in mine today, but after 4 hours it was starting to burn round the edges, surely that shouldn't happen? :o

This is the one we got http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4201276.htm and I had it on low, but it was still bubbling away, the lid was even rattling at one point! It was half full (or half empty depending on how you look at it! :p ) I've never used one before, but that wasn't really what I was expecting, is this normal or have we bought a dodgy one? Any help greatly appreciated :)

What setting did you have it on? low or auto?

I think I have the same cooker and it does caramelise around the edges and bubble on low! try auto....:D
