    morning Elite! :)

    feeling better today :j For a moment I was playing with the idea to ride a few Boots stores this morning but decided it's not that I'm desperate for anything from there and it will be better if I stay here, tidy up a little, prepare the duck in oranges&honey for dinner, have a lovely bath and wait for bf to take me to T after his interview/trial :D silently hope for a nice glitch at T :o
    Me too! Also take a book & a cuppa with me & get out all light headed & dizzy from half cooking myself! Always rinse off with a shower too. My baths are always intended to be an uber relaxing experience, however the bath taps running always send a subliminal message to DH that its time for a poo!!:eek: Everytime without fail!! Cant wait till phase 3 of renovations are complete & we have a 2nd bathroom!
    (Gosh I hope he never reads this he'd be mortified!!):rotfl:

    :eek::eek::eek: how lovely!

    :eek::eek::eek::eek: You don't recycle?
    Very little here goes into landfill.......and once you start recycling it becomes second nature.

    Don't your council provide you with recycle bins?
    We have a grey one for landfill which is collected every fortnight
    A Brown bin for compost stuff ie grass cuttings, leaves, weeds, kitchen waste
    Then we have clear sacks for plastics and metal
    And Blue sacks for all paper and cardboard
    I take all our glass bottles to Morrisons or Sainburys bottle bank along with drinks cartons and any old clothes, bedding etc.

    :o:o:o we don't recycle either :o:o:o

    Silly excuses but I don't have enough space in the kitchen to keep all the rubbish separate nor enough time to do it properly... :o
    Mooorning! funny story for you all from our comic household:

    Started the day with lots of OH NO!'s :( ... ladder in DD's tights, DS grabbed a big pot of yogurt out of the fridge and decided to 'ski' across the floor- :mad:

    Yog went flying and spilled all over a rag-rug. Really messy. I knew that if I took a (scotch-brite :cool:) sponge to it, that it would just grind it all in, so I thought I'd scrape it off...

    got on hands and knees with a big serving spoon, and what happens??? DS asks - Are you going to eat it????
    :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    Noooooo! :p

    Do you think we are taking this MSE thing too far!?!?!? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Have a good one all!

    Sorry was meant to be going to bed, but something nagged at me to check my banking, being an idiot I have used the wrong card and now £40 over drawn but I don't have an overdraft so god knows what will happen! :mad:

    If it's the first time it's happened, it's always worth phoning your bank and explaining ... they have been known to listen sometimes (this is from someone who hates banks with a vengance).

    Morning all! Sorry I have been quiet recently (not that I ever have much to say lol!!). I had struggled to keep up with the thread since HC was taken from us :( I have a couple of mini health problems which have started to play up - namely vertigo and IIH (Idiopathic intracranial hypertension) It means in the mornings I really struggle to settle my head and so seem to be running behind all the time. I only mention it here as I am interested if anyone else has IIH? I was only diagnosed late last year after the usual scans and a lumbar puncture and know so little about it!!

    Anyway hope everyone has a good day today! xxx
