:o Not an MSE Confession but a secret confession :o

I rescue stranded earth worms that are left on the pavement after it's rained. I pick them up & put them on some earth :o
One place I used to walk to work too must of had special earth worm powers as it would take me 10 minutes longer to get to work after a rainfall as I 'had' to rescue hundreds of stranded worms.........:o

Admittedly I don't care if anyone sees me rescuing a worm :D

    Confession over :o
    I rescue stranded receipts ;)

My confession - today I spotted a good womble from a distance , went to pick it up only to realise just in time it was someone's used tissue and not a womble at all:eek::eek::eek:

    Should have gone to specsavers!

I do wonder how hygienic it is to pick up all these things off the floor...:D
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

If i see an upside down woodlouse I always turn it back upright, not an easy task if you have ever tried! I'm sure the cat knocks them over for a laugh...:D

Only trouble is I turn them upright then I hear a crunch where I've stepped on it...

Woodlice make me shudder. I'm really freaked by em.
When I was a young un in my first house with no parents to get rid of little visitors, I tried to rid myself of em. I couldn't bring myself to squish them. I used to chuck em in the toilet to kill em quick.

Now. You may not believe me. In the morning, they would still be alive and walking around the bottom of the pan!!! How is that? I've never understood this. No one believes me.
It freaked me out even more. They don't have gills... Do they? How is it possible?!

Most if the lights in our house take more than one bulb, but i only ever put one bulb in...unless family come to visit!

Im a devil àt turning down e radiators too. Oh puts heating on and is impressed that i dont moan, little does he know that all but 2 of the radiators are off!

I do it at other peoples houses too. My mom has a huge house from when all kids were at home. I was shocked to see all radiators on full so turned most of them to minimum, well no one sleeps in 3 of te bedrooms anymore!! I bet a tenner shed say she knew it was colder if i told her!

    :rotfl:

I mean I don't put the heating on when it's not needed but when I'm in and it's not warm the heating will be on and I won't put on 2 jumpers just to save a few quid :p (not in the rooms I don't use, bedroom only gets heated 2 hours before bedtime, living room when we're in and it's cold)
same with water, I love my baths and I hated it when our friend who we rented a room from used to turn water heating off after an hour or so thinking there should be enough hot water for 4 people! Fine when I managed to be the first there but I hate when the water gets cold half way through washing my hair

I hate baths - can't get used to the concept of sitting in all the dirt etc that has just been washed off . Seems odd to me - showers all the way I say ;)

I have a long lovely bath and then a quick shower before I get out :p so much for mse :o
