The big 625 ml bottles of Persil washing up liquid are on offer in Asda for £1 at the moment, so 2 free bottles. I can't find it in T, don't think they stock it.
I think this was the original post.If you're not scared, you're not paying attention0 -

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.0 -
well, it was an interesting shopping trip this morning. Bought a stock pot as i need one for all the currying i plan in doing, and also for when i batch make loads of soup as well.
Went to T, didnt get anything glitchy but did get some oat so simple of half price, some uncle bens boil in the bag rice which used to have 10 packs in, now only 8 and still more expensive than it was 6 months ago!
Then i went to Boots. Now here is where I get really confused!
Haliborange- £3.59
HRC Clear complexion- £3.59
Bts Revitalise shot £1.99 now .00
Saving £1.99
***link save***
(includes previous Hrcclearcomplexn)
Brs ReEnergise sht £1.99 now .00
Saving £1.99
(Includes previous Haliborange)
(Includes previous Bts Revitalise sht)
Saving now £1.99 now -1.99
Bts Garlic Cap 60's £1.59
Total to pay 6.78
Total Saving today £5.97
Can anyone pick the bones out of that one for me please? I can see that it worked to some extent, but they only had 2 shots, and 1 of those was out the back, so is only having 2 shots what went wrong?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. I don't have access to an Asda so was going to buy it in T and get a JTD if it was more expensive there.
For those that asked, it is a Unilever facebook offer which gives you 2 x £1 vouchers.
I got some in Waitrose - also £1 but the smaller 500ml bottle - if you have one near you0 -

he has been on nights he won't be conscious when he eats or care how much it cost. on the bright side I am cleaning the sides down with dettol! and the mushrooms I am cooking with cost 10p and the corn on the bob coat 20p so must not complainMortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.0 -
I finished work at 2.pm and popped into W1ndsor. Achievement number 1 was parking, sooooo many tourists around.
Part success in Boots, no vitamin shots lefts, but I did get my free mascara from the helpful Clinique lady.
In M&S I got 2 cashmere jumpers for £12 each from £79 - not my size, but I have friends who love cashmere so they will go to good homes.
Then I dashed off to Mr T's thinking I would be too late for any whoopsies, but managed to get peaches, potatoes, finest pasta salad, and shortcrust pastry all at 1/5th of original price. :T
The 'scrum' were so lovely and polite, passing things to each other and helping everyone else out.
I had missed all the meat, so I had to pay full price for a chicken. They didn't have any of the cheap frozen turkey breast left, and I wanted it for tonight anyway.
Also managed to womble 3 receipts, but they don't look very hopeful.0 -
Evening all
Just in from work and trying to catch up.Oh hon, I wish I could give you a hug. It's scary enough leaving your kids in someone elses care but that report isn't what you want to read. Do you have any other options?
Thanks for the reply Caz, would have responded last night but my connection died after I posted. Not got many options at the moment, we don't have any family at all here, but I think I'm going to look into getting her into somewhere else. It sounds awful to say, but I've always had somehting in the back of mind about the place she is at the moment, I just couldn't put my finger on what it was, iykwim. Shall start researching tomorrow and see what I can find....those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
