North Down...too posh for primark jammies over there, plus don't all those north downers have someone to do their shopping for them? :p:p:p

  • you sure you live in Wales???

You see some sights here though. i swear they have little competitions between them as to who can wear the grubbiest ones....one woman during the summer even had a sanitary pad stuck to the back of hers :rotfl::eek::eek::rotfl::eek:

    I nearly wet myself laughing!

:eek::eek::eek: OMG QOC!!! Where, where????!!! I was shopping at my local last night and I haven't EVER seen anyone shopping in pj's before but as I turned to park, there were 2 ladies (not together) wearing checked pj bottoms. I thought it was hilarious but I would never ever do it myself! I feel weird enough without makeup! :p

And on the subject of onesies, I spent the afternoon in the BRI last week and there was a girl in A&E with one on. Normally I would have thought, poor thing, she must be really ill but she had shopping bags with her! :p

I'm pooped. Friends gone home. Mountain of dishes. Various curries for dinner tomorrow though!!!

Cheers. You won't find a 'cosier' kitchen... it's minuscule!!!!

The Portmeirion is from.... Freecycle!!! I know, I know. They must be crackers. I have a lovely collection of cake crockery.

I love having a coffee morning or tea party! Seriously.

Pretty crockery doesn't have to match. It all adds to the charm in my opinion.
Gotta love freecycle. It's my favourite piece of ware now.

Aww thanks JJ :D I'll do you a swap if you've got any of the Baileys cake left! :rotfl:

Talking of baking, I have 4 peaches that are turning but not going soft at the same time so I need to use them up in baking. Does anyone have any ideas please??

Mix and match crockery is wonderful, I definitely think shabby chic is the way to go. I can't wait to have my own kitchen! :D:j

Trying to post a photo of a DTD that I got today but it's just not happening.

Have taken photo, saved in photobucket but can't transfer over - can't find HC's instructions at start of thread and have tried hovering over the photo and clicking it and nothing is happening. I have done it before so not sure why I can't at the moment.

    Could anyone help pls?

Go to photobucket. Click on the picture and 'copy'. Then post a reply. Choose the yellow icon above the text box which looks like a portrait of mountains. Delete 'http://' in the box that opens, then paste your copied image.

That's how I post my images on here. May work differently on your phone/pc but worth a bash.

Just popping on to share my DTD from today.

L'oreal Sublime Bronze self tanning gel - MEDIUM SKIN 3032. Reason I am putting in caps is the photo I have posted is for fair skin to give you an idea what to look for. The fair skin one pictured scanned correctly at half price. I have given my daughter the DTD one's so can't post a pic of the medium one. Its exactly the same though, apart from saying Medium instead of Fair.

Today I noticed L'oreal Sublime Bronze self tanning gel was half price £6.74 instead of £13.49. Paid for shopping and as I was walking to CS noticed three had gone through at the full price and one at half price. Figured out is was the medium that was the DTD one and was given back DTD £40.50 and three free gels. Daughter is very happy.

Noticed some (not sure if all) products in the range were also half price - so well worth a scan if you are after any tanning type products.

Usually in pb I right click then choose copy from the menu that comes up then just paste it but I'm no expert so don't take my word for it!;)

That's sounds like pretty good going to me:T:T:TIf I can get away with it I peel the reduced sticker off before I freeze it, think that might make me a "whoopsie snob":eek::eek:
