**looks at saliva on floor, shakes head and lights a cheroot (don't tell Nikki!!)**
And that's another fine mess you got me into, Artha.
ROFL:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:We are many we are one xxx
So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.0 -
I'm with you on the chicken but I agree, I've always held to the mantra of 'aim for the gold and you might get silver or bronze, aim for the bronze and you might get nothing'
The initial 2 stone, about 4 months. Took me about 2 years to get to 4 1/2 stone loss and then, with Mam in pallitive care up in the North East for the past 15 months and travelling up and down every month or so, plus stress of money worries, etc, I was back to 2 stone 2 lbs loss but back on track and lost 2 1/2 lbs this week. I use s/world but, with my lack of mobility, I find it slow work ........ but worth it
Mr 3Dogs lost 7 1/2 stone in about 18 months and got to the s/world finals 2 or 3 years ago, but, due to the same reasons, he has put a lot of it back on, and his current immobility with sciatica hasn't helped, so he is on about 4 stone loss now
Cheers for the reply 3Dogs as you will have noticed am not on here as often as other users due to work, but congratulations to you and your OH for your efforts on your weight loss and i can emphasize (if i spellt that correct ) with your OH with the sciatica as i was told by my doctor last month that i have it and know how painfull it is, but enough about that so proud of both of you for still going for it, my mother is doing the same and she is OVERWEIGHT :rotfl: Ok i should not slag her as it's my mother but C'mon you all know what i mean and she has decided to invite herself and her Sis an all that side of the family into the same Apartments, same flight AND same accomadation that i have booked for my family and me ( the oh is not happy and not so happy myself but what do you say when your your mum say's guess what?) am dreading it just now and it's still months away. Any suggestions guys as i really wanted a holiday for my oh and kids not all the sh oh wait (mods) crap that comes with other family members when they get drunk at my wits end now and it's months away well end of June Sorry for the rant AAAHHHHH Thats better and as always try a0 -

Don't forget a folder for the masses of coupons you'll accumulate in a whole week or 2's holiday!!:D
Glad you're making plans to get away and recouperate QPR, I'd LOVE to go back to Florida :j But appologies I have nothing to add to your list or any help to offer. My parents organised the whole thing
I also wanted to say hello :hello:to all the lurkers and newbies that have posted yesterday and today to show their support to our little community. I do hope you stick with us:T
I've read most of today's posts but I am very tired. I have to say some of the posts have been shocking, disappointing and hurtful and I have found catching up a bit like car crash tv. I like many others have shared a lot of my personal life on here as well as a lot of discussion about glitches, deals, whoopsies and suchlike and felt that we had a good community spirit going here unlike the hostility sometimes felt on other threads and websites. I try and see the best in people but some of the comments today have just not been called for and made me really question people's integrity and judgment. I'm not going to quote anyone in particular or mention any names but please understand that this thread at times is a lifeline for people to vent and gain support and advice, your judgments and spiteful comments will do nothing but knock people's confidence in posting honestly and in return remove the solace they seek. Our mutual love for saving money has brought us together but that is not all that we are, we're human beings, we have feelings and can be hurt even with a few words of a faceless poster on an internet forum.
And lastly just before I go Fudge2, I'm awfully sorry to hear about the terrible ordeal you, your father and your family have experienced in the last week. I've missed all your piccie posts and really hope that your Father is on the road to recovery and you can get back to normality very shortly. Will be thinking of you :Axx
EDIT: 3 Dogs, I forgot....CONGRATULATIONS!!!!xxxxxxxxxxx
Night night everyone'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0
