I wonder if the moderating team are aware if someone has their settings set this way...........if not then it would certainly explain why he didn't get warnings. To be honest the whole concept that you can turn off admin and moderating team messages on a forum seems absurd.
I'm still very concerned however that happy seems to have had so many warnings directed at him when nobody else has had even one. Has anyone else had a warning about lowering the tone of the conversations or bad language?
It's for email hence email.

He's right FK, if you go into USERCP and go into EDIT OPTIONS their is a box to tick if you don't want to recieve mail from Administrators. Would do a screenshot but I'm not that computer savvy;)
Infraction warnings go via PM rather than email, and there is no way for a user to block those in the options. PMs from administrators override any block, even if you try to disable PMs entirely.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Just found this and thought I knew just the right place to post.
Inner peace
I am letting you in on this secret you because it definitely worked for me today, and we all could probably use more calm in our lives. Some doctor on TV this morning said the way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started. So I looked around my house to see things I started and haven’t finished and so I finished a bottle of merlot, a bottle of chardonnay, a boote of baileys, a buttle of wum, a pockage of prungles, the mainder of bot prozic and caliuminun scriptinsm, the res of the of the chesecake and a bx of chocltz. Yu haf no idr how bludy fablis i feel rite now. Pleese feeel freeee to pi ss this orn to yor frens in nede of inna !!!!. An telum you luvum!!
Hope you're safe and sound somewhere lurking HC:beer:0 -

at 36 wks pregnant i thought i'd been holding my dignity well....until today!
been having issues with my bt broadband and had an engineer out today...well he was still finishing his 'fixing' stuff when mr meerkats aunt phoned on her mobile...i explained we had the bt engineer here and could we call her back. but she forgot to hang up...and so the engineer wasn't able to do his final line checks cos the line was busy...there we were 'walking around grimsby in her handbag', could hear all that was going on...so mr meerkat started shouting 'hello' down the phone at her, this went on dom jolly style for, i kid you not, 10 mins. I'm laughing so hard by this stage i start to worry about labour...no such luck...then mr meerkat shouts 'hello, i'm in your handbag, HELP!' I can't help it and pee a little, then trying to make it to the toilet before the engineer comes back in from his van I actually wet myself:o:o:o:o:o:o really, 33 and doing what i told my 4yr old off for just yesterday!
At least you've got the excuse that you're pregnant. My mum went to stay at my nephew's girlfriends house at Christmas. The girlfriend was away so my mum was visiting her grandson (my nephew) with my sister (his mum). Grandma spent the night in the cocktail bar where grandson works, got absolutely drunk and couldn't make the short walk home so my sister had to get a taxi. Going up the stairs in the house my mum wet herself, grandma keeps saying she had a great night. Sister did not enjoy getting her into her PJ's and I'm sure grandson hasn't told his girlfriend what his grandma did on the stairs.
Re HC - having a different nephew with aspergers I'm not surprised HC swore at the mods, nephew has quite a potty mouth when stressed. HC if you don't return to MSE I really hope you find somewhere to enjoy yourself as much as you have on here.
Finally found some vegetable crisps yesterday, my store is rubbish for 1p stuff but at least it was something I wanted as DD1 loves vegetabe crisps - but at 69p for 20g I think not.0 -
