Ohhhhhhhh o/h just told me I had mail, its a £5 T's card after I was told that you only get the difference when you use self scan! That will help with the £4 off £30 spend

Yup sometimes u have to shout a little louder to get heard but it is never on purpose. Usually conversation is so intense and fast moving even the regulars struggle to keep up .... Especially the oldies j/k!! :p

No I never thought it was on purpose :) I am just a slow reader and can't keep up especially when there is a glitch like OEP and you rack up 30 or 40 pages a day possibly more hehe

Thats brill. My mom always forgets to hang up or calls me without realising. I love dropping things into our conversation that ive overheard and she is always confused about howiknow so much about what shes doing!!

A couple of years ago my nephew had his mobile in his bag at school but didn't lock it, somehow it phoned us & recorded his whole Spanish lesson on our answering machine.

I'm still very concerned however that happy seems to have had so many warnings directed at him when nobody else has had even one. Has anyone else had a warning about lowering the tone of the conversations or bad language?

This is my main issue with the whole situation.

I'm worried that they have sent me messages that I have not recieved.

Have at last caught up on all of todays posts.....Whilst it's really sad HC's gone, it's lovely to see the real community spirit amongst most of the 11+ members. Very nearly all of us have really taken HC to our hearts and the way everyone has been so supportive just goes to show what a tight knit little group we are.
I was surprised to read some of the comments from one of the regulars, but Happy has proved to be the bigger person in every sense of the word!

I had a visit from a close friend of 30 years who had moved to another part of the country and I'd not seen in nearly seven years. We've had a really really lovely day catching up and I mentioned that we just seemed to pick up from where we left off seven years ago!!
She said that is a sign of true friendship....And she is dead right... no awkward silences and no let up in the chat all day!!
She's back living in Somerset now, about 90 minutes drive from me, so we've vowed to meet midway on a regular basis from now on.
She asked what I was up to these days and I showed her a couple of clipstrips of Andrex and my pile of trays!!
She was howling with laughter and said she's pleased I've still not "grown up"
She left with a couple of the trays and some loo rolls to show her new husband "as he'll love it when I tell him what you do!" :rotfl:
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

wish it was as interesting as a spanish lesson...2 70 yr olds talking about how tired each other looked and discussing where they were going to go for a cup of tea??? :D
