Regarding my email to MSE, people are correct when they assume that I did it out of shock/as a knee jerk reaction. I also did it to make sure I wouldn't be allowed back. However, I'm pretty sure that discussing other members PM's on the open forum is a banning offence. It's nice to know that there is one rule for them and another for us. Also, I could have swore that I put more information in to the email than was put on here by the forum team. If not, then I would like to clarify that I have NOT had any warnings about my language from the forum team. The only contact I have from MSE was from MSE Andrea 2 or 3 months ago when I was posting the jokes. The first email I got from her was informing me that it "wasn't a chat thread and to cut back on the chat". I ignored this message and a couple of weeks later she contacted me again saying pretty much the same thing. I responded to tell her that the title of the thread contained the word 'chat' and that 8 out of 10 people wanted the jokes. I then went on to ask if she had a problem with me? I then web further to say that I would stop the jokes. Andrea never replied to me. One thing has just occurred to me whilst typing this and it could be the reason I meet received ANY of the many warnings I'm supposed to have had. I'm pretty sure that in the 'User CP' there is an option to turn off emails from MSE and Forum Management. I'm pretty sure I may have turn this off due to a bad experience I received on another forum from the mods etc. If the forum team are worth their salt they will investigate this further.

I have always said that if ANYONE had a problem with anything I have posted then to let me know, either on the thread or by PM. That way I could remove the offending material and offer a personal apology. Because of this I was quite disappointed that MMW felt she had to report my jokes rather than come to me about it. I would like to make it clear that I had, and still don't have any animosity towards MMW. As as I said on numerous occasions, everyone is different and was more likely to offend someone as opposed to please everyone. I have a great deal of respect for MMW and I feel people were rather unfair in attacking her. At the end of the day all MMW wanted was for the thread to return to normal so that it wasn't closed and that no one else got banned"

This post has just reinforced what I already thought of you...a great character without a bad bone in your body. To be able to write the above shows you have dignity. You are missed and I'm hoping that you will feel differently about returning in the future. Many more people want you here than those who don't. Take care...xx

...and I hope when the dust settles you can see that the amount of support and friendship you have on here is much more important than any animosity you may feel toward the mods.

the majority would love to see the family 'complete' again but sometimes we just have to 'button it' and let people make their own decisions...a very well thought out response...you should be proud Nikkilala, you have such a well-mannered child :A:A

just before I go and catch up, I was gutted when I went to T and couldnt find a single thing that was glitchy :-(

So i went across the road and bought this http://isistv.co.uk/products/isis-19-lcd-usb-record tv for £35 in Best Buy! :-)

Dont know what they have in other stores, and I know that they are closing down at the weekend, but the warranty is still effective with the manufacturer

oh..just remembered how my day went...funny story for those that are interested

at 36 wks pregnant i thought i'd been holding my dignity well....until today!

been having issues with my bt broadband and had an engineer out today...well he was still finishing his 'fixing' stuff when mr meerkats aunt phoned on her mobile...i explained we had the bt engineer here and could we call her back. but she forgot to hang up...and so the engineer wasn't able to do his final line checks cos the line was busy...there we were 'walking around grimsby in her handbag', could hear all that was going on...so mr meerkat started shouting 'hello' down the phone at her, this went on dom jolly style for, i kid you not, 10 mins. I'm laughing so hard by this stage i start to worry about labour...no such luck...then mr meerkat shouts 'hello, i'm in your handbag, HELP!' I can't help it and pee a little, then trying to make it to the toilet before the engineer comes back in from his van I actually wet myself :o:o:o:o:o:o really, 33 and doing what i told my 4yr old off for just yesterday!

Even so I cling to the hope that somewhere out of the darkness a new beginning will come and HC can find a way of return.

He's right FK, if you go into USERCP and go into EDIT OPTIONS their is a box to tick if you don't want to recieve mail from Administrators. Would do a screenshot but I'm not that computer savvy;)

Thats brill. My mom always forgets to hang up or calls me without realising. I love dropping things into our conversation that ive overheard and she is always confused about howiknow so much about what shes doing!!

Thats not very good. I wonder if the moderating team are aware if someone has their settings set this way...........if not then it would certainly explain why he didn't get warnings. To be honest the whole concept that you can turn off admin and moderating team messages on a forum seems absurd.

I'm still very concerned however that happy seems to have had so many warnings directed at him when nobody else has had even one. Has anyone else had a warning about lowering the tone of the conversations or bad language?
