OH don't:( I've got a hiatus hernia that causes reflux and the op is meant to be so bad I just try to avoid what irritates it, which includes MB Xmas cake;)Mine was found by accident when I had a ostomy(Can't remember the words at the beginning) but it was a tube into your tummy. Apparently loads of people have them and don't realise.

She had the same...a camera thingy she had to swallow...she said it was horrible!!
What type of operation depends on how big the hole is apparently.
Hers is fairly large so they are seeing if it repairs itself at all (although they've said it's not very likely) as if it's smaller they can do keyhole surgery.
I really feel for her as she looks so poorly some days......and she is the nicest tax inspector you could wish to meet :rotfl::rotfl:(and very handy to know cos OH is self employed!)

You shouldn't be eating MB cake either ;)
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
  • Oh dear! I just came on to get my fix of 11+and read that Happychappy has been banned. Please tell me this has now been sorted. I can't imagine what has happened, but I would like to be able to offer my support for his reinstatement. Meanwhile I will read back what I have missed and hope he gets back to this page before I do.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D

found the Winnie the Poo mugs in dent@n home store... there was loads.priced at £2.50 each.. didnt try to see if they were 1p cos Im sure they wouldnt sell them if they were... and no self scan there!!1

Denton Home Plus is a pain, there were several scanners around the store to check prices but they are all broken - strangely, they used to work until the mass of electrical reductions last year - I was in there when the staff discovered them and were rushing round grabbing stuff.

Like you say, there are no SS tills so if you found a goody, you can be sure it would be confiscated.

when wombling, its always accompanied by the wombling song, just can't help it!

I'm so glad it's not just me...I got some odd looks when I emerged from the bushes in a particular supermarket car park whistling the wombles tune at the weekend :o

  • Can someone confirm Tesco are now doing the huggies pure wipes at buy 1 get 2 free as the SEL in my local had buy 2 get 1 free signed and it was at floor level with lots of people around so didn't fancy getting on my hands and knees to inspect it!

I fancy the idea of getting a few with money off the rest of my shopping and then chancing my arm with the price checker! Well its worth a whirl surely?

I was looking at these in my store and the ones in the white package are B1G2F and the ones in the green packet are B2G1F, which is slightly confusing!

Just caught up after not being on all day, and wow is all I can say, and not in a good way :(:(

Just wanted to say we  ya Happy, hope things get sorted and you'll be back.

On that note I think I shall sign off for the evening and go to T's and see what's doing. :)

He could set up a new account and contact one of the Mods explaining the reason he has set up a new account is to speak to them regarding his ban. Then maybe if he apologises and assures them that it will not happen again, they may reinstate his original account. Worth a try.

Edit: I've just been advised by Redfox that he definitely shouldn't set up a new account because that could cause him to get another ban. Ooops, sorry.

Could Redfox then suggest a way that he could contact one of the mods? tks

Update: still catching up and now seen response from Redfox - tks
