Found the Cadburys mini eggs in my little Extra last nightAlso got the last 4 Lynx bullets @49p :j
I still have a few of the £1 off pure wipes coupons from the newborn kits. If I was to buy just a load of those wipes (and something to cover the extra off my shopping that will come up n/a) do you think it'd be worth popping the receipt in the pricechecker?0 -
Remember the Slumberdown duvets that were scanning cheap? I checked a single yesterday and instead of £1.xx that I paid a few weeks ago, it scanned as £9.50!
Still managing to resist the Lindor hunt...Chances are that by this time my local area would have been cleaned out anyway.

jumblejack ; today I shall be cooking up a very tasty (but not original ) beef stroganoff . I'll be using Mr T's organic beef purchased on a knock down (800g for £2.50) , reduced (sic) double cream and one of Lady Delias cheats in the terribly clever range from S&M and for pudding we might have a festive one .
I've never made a stroganoff so I will need a picture to inspire me...
Sounds lush though.:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Humph! Fruitless (eggless) trip today. No Lindt eggs with the right barcode, no Mini eggs with the right barcode either. No southern fried chicken fillets, no headphones, telescope or webcams. No baby rear view mirror or Me To You 2 part keyring.
In fact, no bargains at all today!
Gonna go and eat one of the 10p santas I got from Mr S yesterday.0 -

Hello to All , Many thanks for your warm welcomes . As some of you know , I'm the well trained (what ever that means) OH of SnapAnt so I'm taking advantage whilst she feverishly types her letter to the ' powers that be ' to drop into MSE and thank you all for the thanks .
I don't post on forums frequently , although I did a few years ago on the e-bay ones but MSE is a whole different kettle of fish with quotes , smileys etc available .
Anyway , I'm in my 50's born in the nineteen 60's , male , have lived in different parts of Wales all my life (Caerphilly , Johnston - Pembs , Senghenydd etc) , travelled a little doing the usual tourist hot spots of Spain , Turkey , Malta , India , I'm an ex Civil Servant (Ministry of Defence ; Inland Revenue)...and I believe I'm Mr October on the MSE 2011 calendar .
Excuse any speeling mistooks as I 'm still finding my way around .
Happy hunting all .
Welcome fourp glad to see ya.0 -

I bought some wipes last week when they were on a B2G1F ... and they didn't compare. But I'm now taking them back with the receipt and buying again with the B1G2F offer. Not sure how much better off I'll be but I'm sure I will be. Let's hope the recipts will be goldenbut I v much doubt it!

And an update on my buttermilk making attempts for those that are interested - I now have a nice little production line going. I use the old Kenco glass containers, add 3/4 or 1 cup buttermilk and fill the jar up with plain milk, seal and leave it out in a warm place for 12-24 hrs and hey presto- more buttermilk. Delicious in pancakes, biscuits and also excellent for making lassis0
