    Hi all,
Missed a few days as lovely DB and his equally lovely wife have been staying here. Lovely guests so a beautifully relaxing time.
Tomorrow I begin tracking down all the things I shoved into drawers and cupboards to make the house look tidy. Question: Will I ever be a tidy, organised person? Answer: Unlikely!:D

Tomorrow I also start on my 'lose weight and smarten up' campaign. Am tired of feeling that I am bursting out of my clothes all the time.

Also tomorrow I get all my finances sorted out and my savings, (savings?) organised.

Tomorrow, you, JulieG: should be putting us all out of our misery. Good luck with that.:)

    I LOVE tomorrow.

Uolypool; I think you have had more than your fair share of troubles just lately. Here's hoping the police can sort out the low-life that attacked your son and things start to improve for you.

Lots of love to those of you who are suffering today.

    Hi all

Back from Japan yesterday afternoon, spent the night in the travelodge in Reading, home before lunch with a little food shopping on the way. DS pleased to see us-cooked brunch for us and washed up/fed dishwasher, house clean yay! Nap after but still seriously jetlagged. Really bad this time...

Had lovely Christmas, New Year and my Birthday with DD and hubby.Where did the last 3 weeks go?

DS defrosted meatballs for supper for this evening-how organised is that! Right 2012 he will be taking a full role in household chores etc as have spoiled him too long.

Nothing OS about Japan-did I mention the £2.50 parsnip LOL!

Just catching up but can't remember much as head still woolly.

    Glad to be back.

    Hugs to all

Hi ladies (have we lost the gentlemen?!!)

Been a hectic first week back at work with 2 council meetings already  but I've managed to eat a little healthier & cook a meal from scratch for each evening :D

After the ulcer problem at New Year I've decided to take more care of myself, particularly as another lady from work has passed away at a young age.

As a consequence I'm not taking part in our WI pantomime in March, 1st time in 20 years, but something had to go as I feel like I'm living my life on auto-pilot just moving from one committment to another. I've got a wonderful family & very supportive OH and it's time I enjoyed them instead of them mopping up after me.
    JC - I'm joining SW tomorrow ;)

I "borrowed" the free booklets from my Mum's newspaper & have to say I'm impressed so far. Looks very OS? Just had a leaflet pushed through the door for a new meeting starting tomorrow night but wondering if I should do it on my own as I don't want to commit myself to yet another night out.

Got on the Wii Fit last week for the 1st time in ages and I've lost half a stone since I was last on there so that has encouraged me.

Does anyone else do SW? I used to be a member of WW but they seem to have changed it to something more complicated???!!

Been lurking during the week & quite a few seem troubled or having a bad time. Hugs for everyone in need.

    Take care

    Karen

    Hi all,
Just got back from DD's. Went for lunch. She did Toad-in-the-hole, which was yummy:T Haven't had that for ages!
Went to Asda before and got loads of bent tins reduced. 19p for smart price tomatoes, and Heinz soups at 39p:T I eat a lot of HM soup, but thought these were good value! Best bargain though was Smart Price Raisins. Wanted some dried fruit for baking, mixed fruit was 64p for 500g. Then realised that Raisins were reduced to clear.....24p for 500g! DGD loves raisins to eat on their own too, so bought six packs. That should make a few teacakes:rotfl:

Hope everyone has had a good day!

    Evening all,

Just popped back in to wish Beth and Bramble good luck with tomorrow.
Uolypool hope things pick up for your soon.
Sounds like quite a few of us are starting SW properly this week:o I was supposed to start last week. I find it very easy to follow and very OS with fresh hm food. Not sure if I should join a class or do it on my own, can't really afford the £5 every week.
Had a long chat with my son in Australia this morning and he can't wait for us to get there and we cant wait to go:T lots to sort out but very exciting.
Going to chill and watch dancing on ice:D

Maybe we should save the £5 in a pot & give each other free support on here?! ;)

So tired I can't even be ar*ed to heat up food yet. Might do some later in front of the telly. In the meantime, early dinner (I'm like a hobbit, I have to eat every three hours :)) is a cup of decaf tea and a slice of cake leftover from Christmas. Nom nom nom. :rotfl:
