Morning all. Sunny and bright here today and not too cold. Have been up for some time, walked dog, eaten breakfast and done my school work so I feel I deserve a bit of time on here. Have also hung out washing as it dried well yesterday. If it stays nice we will take dog for a walk up the big field later, he likes to go somewhere different for a change more new places to sniff. We're trying a new recipe later Lemon and Turmeric chicken so will see if we like that one. Have to make some soup for lunches this week, need to get back to healthy eating again. I managed to get down 3 dress sizes last year for my nieces wedding now want to get down 3 more as have another wedding and my daughter's graduation in July.
Will be thinking of you tomorrow Bramble and Beth and hope baby Roo comes soon JG
Hugs to all who need them, have a good day.:)

Good Morning all I have been MIA as my friend has been for a few days and we have been de-cluttering my house.bless her she is brilliant and we took 3 big bags of rubbish to the tip plus my DGS Ben arrived and di my front garden weeding for me for the price of bacon ,egg and mushrooms and a slipped fiver in his pocket to help him when he goes out with his pals today to football.
June has just gone home and it does seem very quiet now.We went to see The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo on Friday night .Daniel Craig is a bit lovely to the eye but the girl in it is so slim she seems almost fragile .I enjoyed the film but I'm not sure if I would enjoy the books. But it was 'interesting' to say the least.:)
We sat and knitted and jawed for most of last night and yesterday afternoon we sorted out all my craft stuff which was scattered all over my spare room. Found a few 'lost things' that had been mislaid which was good. She is coming again at the end of the month and we are hoping to decorate my bedroom which hasn't been touched since I moved in here 16 years ago.I will get young Ben round to strip the wall paper off beforehand so it will make the job a bit easier
Hope all's well with everyone on here ,the weather is suprisingly mild for early January which is goo as it will help keep the heating bills down.Right I'm off for some coffee Have a great day everyone whatever you are up to
    Take care JackieO xxx

    Hello all

It's a quiet day here today, I've pottered around the house and cleaned all the windows, my kitchen window was a disgrace! I always try and keep the outside clean and tidy as my neighbours on both sides are really lovely, but very houseproud. Sometimes you just want to sit in the garden rather than work on it, don't you?
Off to Al** this afternoon with mum
    take care all

Ladies, afternoon, again thank you for the lovely words of support. Have not long woken up:o, ds3 is still asleep , think the events of the past36 hours have caught up with us both. I know he tossed and turned through the night will leave him to wake in his own time.
Woke to the lovely smell of Roast Beef , ds1 and dd have prep dinner and loaded the wm and td, took woofer on a long walk this morning and generally had a tidy round. Very greatful for that. Feeling pretty dam rough atm.
So no OS again for me today :o
Police apparently called this morning , said they will call again this afternoon, hoping its good news but fear its too early on for that.
Am going to finish my cuppa and get up as still in bed, have a nice warm bath to see if I can sooth away the aches and pains a bit then dinner could be ready as my belly is telling me its starving;)
Enjoy the remainder of you Sunday all.

DH left me in bed until 11pm  but he said he could hear me ouching in my sleep all night :( so he left me to get some quality sleep. I will be glad when Friday gets here and I can see if the dr can give me something stronger. I will probably get the usual carp about losing weight blah blah. I am fed up of being on bloody diets and put most of the weight back on when I stopped smoking

DH and DD have gone to see MIL to help her get acquainted with her laptop as FIL usually has a couple of hours at the pub on Sunday, so that is the only time she gets some peace.

Dinner tonight is Roast beef etc, we will have that at 5pm

Beth I will be thinking of you tomorrow (((((Hugs)))))
JulieG, Baby will come when he or she is ready, I went nearly three weeks over with DD but had DS on the due date.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Afternoon all - was up nice and early today thanks to the dog having a dicky tummy and deciding he needed to get it all off his chest!
Wandered down to Waitrose to see if they had any offers on and managed to get 6 pots of herbs quite cheaply as they were coming to the end of their use by dates (on potted herbs?!).

Came home and set about splitting a pallet or two up to make a herb table to sit on the patio with the help of my lad.

End result was a bit bigger than expected so we will put some strawberry plants in there as well!

Take a look at my table :)

Wife and daughter made some home made cheese cake (gorgeous!!) and the leek and cheese toastie out of Hughs Veg book that I got for Christmas.

Managed to pot up my little fig tree into a nice looking pot to sit just outside the backdoor.

Now getting ready to go visiting, so see you all tomorrow!
Thanks to advice from people here I am debt free - thank you to you all! Now working on the mortgage!
