  • As with all other offers like this I always take a copy of the sheet I send in with all the stuff attached to it, just in case any companies try to "pull a fast one."

I'd recommend everyone should do the same.

i knew i had forgotten something! ooh, i hope they pay me back what i paid..!
  • Mine was returned cos Sainbury just put actimel on the receipt and not 12x actimel I am going to get them some jip tomorrow.
  • Mine was returned because my reciept showed 2 actimel and 2 yogurt drinks .They were on the same receipt but were 2 different varieties, and no proofs of purchase came back.Thought this offer was too good to be true.

It sounds like they under-anticipated demand for this one, if these problems are representative of other people's experiences...

Did anyone's receipt state pack size?? I'd like to know which retailer:P

Anyone else with a Sainsbury receipt had problems or not?

Would like to know if u do get your money after all, scoop211.

  • seems they are changing the goalposts, first because of "yogurt drink" on the receipt and when it is Actimel on the receipts, they are saying they want the pack size on it too. I think a call to Watchdog if no joy with customer services.

i thought that by returning that part of the cardboard packaging you were proving how many you had purchased.

Got mine at ASDA that had a 2 for £4 at the time (now 1/2 price btw), hopefully gonna get back £8.

I got mine in Sainsbury's and the receipt only said Actimel, although I did paperclip the appropriate proof of purchases to the corresponding receipt. I don'tthink I could have made it any clearer, so if they send it back I will be very narked.

How can they refuse on the grounds that the receipt does not specify the amount?! That's not our fault and not something we can change, and it is clear that Actimel was purchased from the word ACTIMEL on the ****** receipts... rant rant rant...

Well, I got a cheque from Actimel, think it was two weeks ago I submitted my application. They've managed to get my name wrong. *@$^! idiots. The first name initial is wrong, but my last name is fine. My initial is the same letter as my last name and having had a look at the scanned image I took before sending it off, my handwriting is very clear. They better not have done this deliberately.

I tried calling the careline (0808 number as in a previous post somewhere) but was told to call back on a weekday. I'm tempted to try the bank anyway, as the surname is correct and so is the address which is printed on the cheque as well.

idiots. Will write a letter as well!
