Actimel One Month Free Reward Update

After making a few applications for 1 months free supply of Actimel, i have had one turned down. The reason for this is that i cut my credit card details (along with the date of purchase) from the receipt, also a friend has hers turned down because on her receipt it said 'yoghurt drink' and not 'Actimel'. Surely if their marketing people had thought about it, people are obviously going to be cutting credit/debit card details from receipts before putting them into the post!!
Anyway the point being that if you do get an application refused for this reason, contact their customer services department on 0808 1449451.
Hope this helps someone.

Thanks. Wasn't sure.
I'm moving house at the end of the month, which resets all my address details so I can do them all over again...! Although I think the offer expires end of this month.0 -
Thanks - will keep note as I know one of mine said "yoghurt drink" as thats how it scans in tesco !

T&C No.9 is one single claim per household, so as you've broken that they are quite likely and entitled to refuse anything else you submit. Are you sure it wasn't for this and not the c/card you were turned down?...The reason for this is that i cut my credit card details (along with the date of purchase) from the receipt...Surely if their marketing people had thought about it, people are obviously going to be cutting credit/debit card details from receipts before putting them into the post!!
This surely shouldn't be an issue? Sainsbury's remove all but the last 4 digits of a c/card number from a receipt. If you're dealing with a retailer that these days prints them ALL, you should worry more about their bad practice and poor security than a cashback - give them hell, and ask them when they intend to improve their act....also a friend has hers turned down because on her receipt it said 'yoghurt drink' and not 'Actimel'.
That is not on, especially if Tesco's print it as "yoghurt drink" as has been said - given Tesco's share of the grocery market that would be a licence for Danone to reject a quarter of applications!
UNACCEPTABLE.
Since you have to include the little cardboard packet numbers as well as the receipt it is 100% clear you have bought Actimel.
If rejected on this account I would certainly give them hell on that CS number of 0808 1449451 and threaten them with Trading Standards.0 -
um, i have sent my application off, the 3 strawberry ones show as actimel on the receipt, but the orange one shows as "yoghurt drink" on the tesco receipts. I will be interested to see what happens to mine then too...!Mortgage free 04/03/2025. Thanks to this site and lots of overpayments bit by bit.
Next stop: house repairs, holiday fund, replace our very old cars, more financial security/early retirement savings.🤞0 -
I had my cheque, but it was for £5.39 not the £8 I spent. Grrr! Have emailed them through the website.2015 comp wins - £370.25
Recent wins: gym class, baby stuff
Thanks to everyone who posts freebies and comps! :j0 -
Multiple applications not even made in my name let alone address so it was the fact that the receipt was missing the bottom 1/2 (and the date of purchase) even though everything esle was complete, but thanks for everyones thoughts on this.0

Had a second one returned today, again no date on the receipt, but interestingly both have been returned with one cut out from the box missing. I will be taking this up again with their CS.0

As with all other offers like this I always take a copy of the sheet I send in with all the stuff attached to it, just in case any companies try to "pull a fast one."
I'd recommend everyone should do the same.0
