They dont but you will when the person you sub contract the phone to fails to pay the bill and the phone company comes after you for the money. Seen at least one thread on here in recent months about that happening.
Or they'll resell the handset, and then sell the SIM on to run up huge costs on international calls for a few days. You'd have to be out of your mind to even contemplate doing this.No free lunch, and no free laptop
