So no proof seen, we have no evidence it was genuine or no evidence they actually told you it, you could be making it up just to appear knowledgeable and support a fellow MSE person:cool:
Couponmad stated she has not seen proof. She then went on to say she is familiar with two pieces of legislation. She has not stated that she has been told that a person "won" a few quid from a PPC. But GivethemFA has stated that he was successful in an action against a PPC for harassment."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

I've always wanted to use that one on someone. Thank you. And thank you for replying to me. I feel like I belong now.
Now that I have your attention, can I ask for your expert opinion?
A free car park on a small retail park in a city suburb, close to the high street.
The T&Cs say not to leave the site. OK, the owner doesn't want his car park used by his competitors' customers.
The T&Cs also impose a 2 hour limit. OK, the owner doesn't want his car park full of commuters before the shop opens.
I drive in and park. Within the markings, of course.
How do I avoid being ticketted? If I drive out, I contravene the first T&C. If I obey the first T&C, I will, eventually, contravene the second T&C. Catch-22.The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -

If I didn't, how could you respond? And I have no issue with your opinion of me. A lot of other people have thought that of me. At first.
Anyway, my question, which I was careful to ask politely, still stands. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
If parking companies were that bothered about loosing money they would collect it at the gate.
They dont because they could only take a few quid of drivers, it is far more profitable to scam them for a few hundred, Like our friend peter he likes nothing More than scamming pensioners.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Blank out anything that may identify you as I think you are talking crap again here.
BUT, I am happy for you to prove me wrong ... come on, heres your chance to put up or shut up.
You are apparently used to an environment where people take you seriously. They don't here.
I am not a disabled pensioner, so you are wasting your time trying to browbeat me.
For the benefit of the original poster whose thread has been hi-jacked, ppeterson is a fraudulent poster and not what he seems; he actually runs a car parking company and his mission on here is to see if he can undermine our advice. A troll, in other words.
The reason he does this is because he feels threatened by us. He prefers a scenario where he can tell his lies with impunity. His childish bravado indicates that.0 -
So who are you, ppeterson 1750?0

Anway, back to my original point.
Are you going to put up and prove you are not some sado who makes stories up in an attempt to fool people into thinking you are some great person who defeats parking companies - or are you going to keep avoiding the issue as you hope it will go away and everyone will forget about your attempts to fool people.
It would be so simple for you to prove your statements, yet you seem so reluctant to do so.
Come on, prove me wrong and show the world you only post truthful things.
You can't can you ?
Oh the hypocrisy of you not wanting to reveal who you are and the PPC you own/work for yet expecting others to provide "proof" of what they have been able to achieve:D"You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

You were able to give a detailed account of a case held (allegedly) in Portsmouth County Court, involving a company which happens to be owned by one Michael (Perky) Perkins.
As we all know that small claims hearings are not public, the only way in which you could have given that account is by being involved at first hand. So your statement is a lie. No great surprise really, as lying is the stock in trade of PPCs.
I have some unwelcome news for you Mr. Perkins. No one here gives a damn what you think.
And if you think I am going to justify myself to you then you are even simpler than you are being taken for.
What I am perfectly prepared to do, though, is to fax or scan and send the County Court order- complete with official Court seal- to one of the trusted members like Coupon Mad- so that your hot air can be exposed for what it is- Perky.0
