I cannot comment on the previous threads, however I have had experience of the hiring out my motorhome through a motorhome hire agent.

We have managed 14 weeks occupancy (2011) and received £5197 after commission and insurance.

We paid £25,000 second hand for the motorhome at the start of 2011. We have just sold the motorhome for £24,500

We will be buying another one this year to do the same thing...

The motorhome hire agency we use is Lazee Dayz

Assuming it’s THIS company, as they show up on Google as LazeeDayz. Apologies to this company if not.

    2 things that get me on their website;

No commission = no incentive to rent
One small fee = no incentive to rent.
    Name & Registered Office:
    BAD APPLE MEDIA LTD.
    [OMITTED]
    Company No. [OMITTED]

    Status: Active
    Date of Incorporation: 04/01/2012

And guess what? Another 1st time poster!

OK, sorry I came across like a bunny boiler - I'm actually a veggie so I've never boiled anything more lively than a potato. I suppose somebody from this thread probably needs to go along on April 28th and ask some real questions, rather than picking on me. I'm just a writer really, I'm not totally clued up on the investment side of things.

A great idea! OK gang, let's start thinking of some questions.
I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.

Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.

Glenn Close didn't eat the bunny, she killed and boiled it simply to achieve a goal.

    BTW, didn't you say "bye"?

    Just did five minutes research.

    Found this on Youtube:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEEwEbKumjE

It was taken at the registered address of Motorholme Limited.

Looks like this chap has a host of dubious businesses.

    Ferraris anyone?

    http://www.holidayholme.co.uk/testimonials.htm

    Holiday Holmes [sic]?

    http://www.holidayholme.co.uk/index.html

55 mortgages registered against vehicles at Companies House:

    http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/48de6b02c23d1d4c3023f1851c9863fc/wcprodorder?ft=1

I downloaded a couple, one was mortgaged to a guy in Cockermouth, the other to a couple in Bourn,
it looks quite sloppy and just says asset charged 'Motorhome WFOYXXTTFYBxy12345', which could be anything really. Plus it doesn't specify the amount secured, but says it's stored separately, but maybe that's normal.

It would appear that you couldn't lose that much as you have a charge over the redneckmobile, but then it could be destroyed or severely damaged I guess.

Can you post the Cambridge address, time and date on here for all to see please? If you want to push this investment, I’m not phoning an 0870 phone number.

I feel that I’d like to look into this on a professional level (I’m a local politician) and will deal with accordingly.

    See above.

I’m going to give this a good going over.

Like a mortgage, the value of the loan would constantly go down, so this would make sense (Our mortgaged business property doesn’t display figures, nor would, say LEX Leasing or a banks mortgage systems).

I have no idea apart from what I can tell you from our own systems.

The thing with it is that as a company, they’ve made a great attempt to cover up whatever it is that they’re really doing; the 01223 no., the fact they are on companies house, and the attempts to drum up business. I’ve bailed out on various good opportunities as a result of things like this, and many people that have done them have lost money.

The thing with it is that these companies will disappear sooner or later with a wad of cash, and something that I have seen before now is contractors don’t get paid (in this case, the motorhome owners) and Jane will disappear with money with her partner?! to god knows where. It’s awfully difficult to prove that a crime has been committed in this instance.

If it’s such a good business proposition, why aren’t they keeping tight about it and doing it themselves?! This is the secret to how my own company works, which I’ve expanded further by international investments in the same area. I have no knowledge of motorhomes, just like many people have no knowledge of my industry.
