I'm going to try and keep up with posts every day as I think it's keeping me focussed.
Had a lie in this morning. Felt like deserved it as I've worked hard earning money all week.
Got up to find that someone has booked my caravan for 2 weeks in august. Whoo hoo.
Answered some other queries about my caravan.
EBay items ended today. Got nearly £100 for 7 pieces of clothing I never wear!
Did the surveys.
Signed up to a toothpaste trial - yey free toothpaste.
Made value fish fingers and home made savoury rice for tea.0 -

Hi all
Good to see you starting the thread again Josie and so sorry little pink purse about your sis..family can be so hurtful at times..
I have not been on this weekend as at my mums and she doesn't have wireless so no sneaky reading of MSE!!
I have been restrained this weekend as with my mum and dad but OH and kids did spend some money on books ( am never sure whether they count as purchases..generally as important to me as food and drink;)) and we paid for a takeaway last night and had a lunch today.
But we do now have a paper log maker ( will let you know how this goes, am planning to take a leaf out of Scrappie's book and top up our newspaper recycling pile by nabbing papers from the neighbours recycling bins) and a bag of wood for the stove..all nabbed from my parents, plus pot plants and cakes. A fair haul I'd say!:D
Washing now on at 30. Dryer is broken and won't be replaced we have decided. Think will get a second hand freezer instead so can bulk freeze lots of lovely produce from the allotment etc.
Have meal planned for the next 2 weeks. Plan to go to Aldi for some bits too. Had to ignore the lure of the Nectar money off vouchers for Sainers but I think on balance I will save money by going to Aldi. Fresh veg and meat coming straight from the farm so cutting out the middleman there. I do really think planning makes a difference and also it so takes the stress out of everything at that crazy everyone home from work, school and need to get kids to bed time..
Cheers all, hope everyone has a good week

A fairly busy weekend in our house.
Yesterday we had a shoot to go to, OH shot a few pheasants so that's a few meals sorted
Last night we went to a friend's to eat and play cards, so a fun cheap night.
Checked online banking, low balance but within budget.
Trip to farm shop for veg this morning and then Mr M...got some reduced meat for the freezer and so now nicely stocked up.
£7.00 moved into £365 account so that's now at £14.
Meal planner done for the next week.
Can't believe how quickly it went but I'm only doing a 4 day week this week and it's nearly my birthday :jClearing debt to save for a simple wedding.Starting 2016 With debt of £77000 -

Well, it's been a profitable weekend for me. It's the first weekend I've had off in ages after a bout of illness (and resulting lack of sleep) over Christmas so I spent most of it being lazy and barely getting out of bed.
So I haven't spent anything, all of my meals have been from my stores and I cashed out another £5 Amazon voucher on Swagbucks.
Trying to decide if I should use my Swagbucks Amazon vouchers to buy books/DVDs (currently refuse to allow myself to spend money on new ones until I've read/watched all the ones I already own) or whether I should save them all up in my Amazon account in the hope that eventually they'll add up to enough to buy a Dyson or a Magimix or something else. Thoughts?0 -

Save them!! Much more rewarding in the longrun! :money:Clearing debt to save for a simple wedding.Starting 2016 With debt of £77000
