  • Morning (just) everyone.
Great to see you back Josie, Em586, we're moving too in the next couple of weeks, 200 miles down the road. Got the keys on Friday, previous tennents have left it a bit of a tip so landlord is giving us a rent free period to clean up and decorate.:D No kids to sort but 2 dogs.
I drove back up north last night, need to start sorting this house in earnest this week (and I have stack loads of furniture and stuff stored at parents that they want gone asap.) Going back down to new house on Sat as have a few day's work up here this week.
So today we have had a nice lie in and a leisurely breakfast.
Washing machine is on, will dry on airer.
    To do.
Deep clean bathroom (then it will just swipe clean before we leave)
Pack up most of our bedroom and dismantle large bookcase, will take it with me on Sat (I love my estate car).
    Srub out back yard.
Take pooches for a long walk this afternoon.
All meals from stores (need to empty freezers!) Sausages and something for tea, chicken defrosting for tomorrow.
    Check for surveys.
    Declutter, big style!

    Have a great Sunday everyone.

Hello, can I join with you?

I have got debts down from 18K 4 or so years ago doing all the "big" things, now I really want to get rid of the rest this year.

    this weekend
boil kettle once a day and keep in flask for tea/coffee/cooking (I always do this aanyway now).
hung out 2 loads of washing to dry (it's taking each load a whole day to dry, cold and still day, but every little helps etc).
    nectar and lotto searches done.
going to try and list some stuff on ebay tonight.
friend came over last night and instead of hiring a film and having a takeaway we made pizzas and played dance games on the wii.

I'ved stopped getting surveys through from valued opinions since I turned 40 (honestly it's gone from 1-2 a day to 1 a week, which I get thrown out of as soon as I put my age). Is there a list of other survey sites somewhere?
    :AA/give up smoking (done) :)

    Hello everyone,

Hope you're all well, I didn't post yesterday as I would have felt a bit of a fraud as I don't feel as though I've done a whole lot, motivation just wasn't there! I felt the need to be lazy, very lazy lol.

We have booked our honeymoon though, I am soooo excited! :D Just wish the cashback would hurry up & track already, I could really use it...

Thanks for starting us Josie, well done on all your achievements since we last "saw" you!
Ziggy - Well done for having the courage to go to the doctor, if you need a chat/rant/virtual hug you know how to get in touch!
DNMS - Hope you manage to get your sewing machine sorted out, if not at least paypal tends to vote in the buyers favour these days!

  • I haven't posted on here for a very long time, and I'm always a bit on and off with it but new challenges are ahead!

I only have one thing on my list today.. Sort my life out!

Need to come up with a plan. I am aiming at moving away to uni at the end of this summer (mature student), with my expensive boyfriend in tow..

My debt is pretty much gone, just the overdraft and a bit more on 1 credit card (which has been cut up), he has 11k ish and with his payments we can just about survive... I won't move until I'm sure that we can afford it though so today I need to do lots of planning... which is why I'm back on here!

Hi everybody!! Hope everyone has achieved their lists!
    My Debts:
    Barclays Overdraft - £1600 Capital One CC - £1200

    March Targets:
Barclays Overdraft - £500 Capital One - £75.52 (Double minimum payment)

What would happen if you mis-typed your age? ;) NOw you've mentioned it, I can't remember even having any invies from VO for forever...off to investigate that!

I did my weekly shop at Aldi for the first time today...saved loads but then with this new (to me) meal planning, I'm not buying half the carp I was anyway :)
