  • Today I have:

Done a stall at a craft fair and made a profit of £4 (whoo hoo!). Well it all adds up I suppose.

    Checked bank account.

Put £40 into sealed pot to pay towards debt.

2 enquiries about my caravan which is up for rent. That's about 30 enquiries I've had this week but still no bookings. What am I doing wrong?

    Checked ebay.

    Did all the surveys.

    Did all the comps.

Tonight I'm doing an online study about the TV programme Bank Job while it's on that I should get £10 for doing.

Update food tracker (17.5lb off up to now since Sept) - in progress
General tidy up in attic -
Read ("Lost Boy") - in progress
    Comps
    Try to sparkle
    Sort more photos into frames/albums
    More decluttering - in progress

Hope you all have a great day, love to you all

    C x

PS Thank you all for your support and good wishes, taking each day as it comes and trying to be good to myself

    Morning all!
I have a lot to do today (packing!), but won't get it done as we'll be at my in-laws until this evening...

BUT we do save £ as we eat both big meals there each Sunday, and when we get home I plan to do a load of washing, and pack up a bookshelf or two. :)

Good morning all you determined DFWs out there.

    Em586:

may I ask you were the nappied you sold used cloth nappies, and where did you sell them, as I have a massive bag of old cloth nappies and wraps 'living' under my bed in a bin liner and I need to shift them.

    Today I hope to:

All food from stores, including Roast Chicken & veggies for tea, nom, nom, nom :)
    Whizz through ironing
    Walk dog x 1
Delegate other dog walk to OH
Parcel up Amazon video to return tomorrow & get refund
Make cake for pack lunch puddings for boys
Make pack lunches this aft. for tomorrow
New metre reading to NPower (changed from EDF) so hopefully will get £100 high street vouchers plus cashback (can't remember how much:o)
Calculate what's left to make cc payment, after mammoth AMEX bill from December/Xmas spends! :o
Figure out how to set up a spreadsheet for virtual pots to organise my budget more efficiently!
Browse through any remaining online sales for any gifts that i can squirrel away for birthdays, & xmas.
Apply for savings account with bank so can use as a virtual pot (as above)
Cut OH's hair (so he'll save on hairdresser costs) - he can make me a cappacino in his coffee machine and give me 30 min sit down whilst he sees to 3 boys! :D

    Non MSE:

Fit in lots of 30 mins study slots for OU courses that (as usual) I am behind on! As have assignment due to Thursday and am waaaay behind! :o

Tidy desk (in dining room) so that I can have a 'study area' and a place for my OU books to 'live' when i don't have my head in them. :p

Watch 1 of about 15 episodes of Casualty that's on our V+ to clear room to tape more casualty episodes!!

    Have a great day everyone.

  • Ok so my plans for the weekend:
    • [STRIKE]checked banking x 2 & cc1[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]updated spends spreadsheet[/STRIKE]
    • will check through cupboards, fridge, freezer and do inventory/meal plan - should get away with just a few essentials this week
    • get oh to make some bread
    • have a quick showe instead of a bath
    • do an hours work - work coming out of my ears as I'm leaving in

OMG just got distracted as my sewing machine has just arrived :T:j::T OMG soooooooooo excited. Now just need to learn how to use it! My home ecs teacher wrote in my report when I was 13 I was "good at sewing but painfully slow" :rotfl:

    so list continues...
    • list a few things on "evilbay" ha ha ha loving that! (need to start getting some "free money" to pay for the Thailand trip!)
    • make a cake
    • all meals from stores
    • gonna go for a NSD even though I am going into town with my bestie. She has some vouchers to spend and I have a voucher for a few trial of some fancy comestics. I also have a maccy d card which is full so that's a latte & if all else fails I have £16 on my boots card
    • go to the gym! I will do it this week!!!

ok think that's me for the weekend. Happy days y'all x

ok have done nothing off of my list! :o so a lot to do today and dd has just called and I will be either taking her to the out of hours gp or hosp (I think it will be the gp but she is in the grip of hypercondria currently) I also have a part to go to at 6 so not sure if I'll get everything done

so peed off! spent about an hour trying to work out how to use the sewing machine, then watching youtube tutorials. Couldn't work out where the spool goes. So then spent ages trying to get instructions on the web for my particular machine (someone very helpfully phot bucketed the whole instruction manual - some people are wonderful aren't they? :A) and it appears the the part is missing! have emailed the person on ebay but they are yet to respond. Am really cross about this!

So will be following that up and getting on with what I can today....

hope you all have a lovely day x

  • Thanks Determined.

I haven't, so I aim to do this today, if I ever get through my long list!
Sorry to hear about your ebay purchase - it's so rude when people sell an item and it has someone missing or is faulty. Good luck with getting it resolved. :)

    Now best get on....;)
