Boxes of christmas cards had 75% off today also.

Mine had an offer, if you spent £5 you could buy a small yankee candle for half price, the scent was drift away :)

  • Some great bargains in Hull St Stephens Clinton's today :)
  • Had these me to you bears with name hearts down from £4.99 to 99p earlier this week at Bluewater - only a handful of girls names left (Rachel, Phoebe, Bethany, Karen, Louise, Laura are the ones I remember out of about 10 different ones), but I found 4 (including my wife's name) that I can give as small gifts to friends and relatives.

  • There's no word yet on Clinton going into administration, that I'm aware of. They are in financial difficulties though.

I don't like Clinton one bit. Beware their upsells at the till. Employees are pressured to try and sell 'charity' tat to every customer, where only a low percentage goes to the charity in question.

I don't shop in Clinton that often......perhaps 6-7 times a year, but I've never been offered or encouraged to buy any 'charity' tat. Perhaps I have a 'don't bother' kind of face :rotfl:
