As well as Christmas and Halloween items, they also had other JLS items e.g. pens, key-rings and photo albums reduced in price.

I went into St@mf0rd branch on the offchance and got 3x Me to You bears ( You're Gorgeous, Hugs and Kisses and I Love You ) for 49p each, should have been £9.99 or £10.99 depending on style. Also a Forever Friends "Special Mummy" Bear for 25p down from £4.99, and some of those fold up shopping bags that fit into a lovely little pouch with a detachable flower brooch/clip on them for 10p each ( I got three )
Easter themed tissue paper and mask-making kits ( bunnies or chicks ) were 25p each in a bargain bin. didn't see much in the way of either Christmas or Hallowe'en items, but I am happy with what I got - will make nice little gifts for birthdays etc, so they have gone in the pressie drawer ( which is overflowing, think people need to have two birthdays a year around me! )0 -
I went in yesterday to grab some wrapping paper, I'm all stocked up and ready to get Christmas 2012 on a roll... buy and wrap, buy and wrap, buy and wrap... when you live with Miss Eagle-Eyed-Flappy-Ears, it's got to be done!! Thank you!! xx0

Didn't see and me to you today but they had selected greetings cards on 3 for a quid, some good funny ones that I would normally buy for about 2 quid each, now just hope to remember where I keep them later in the year!0

There's no word yet on Clinton going into administration, that I'm aware of. They are in financial difficulties though.
I don't like Clinton one bit. Beware their upsells at the till. Employees are pressured to try and sell 'charity' tat to every customer, where only a low percentage goes to the charity in question.
clintons have announced a better result only a 0.4% rise in sales and that againnst a low base from last year, analyst believe its too early to say if the 771strong chain will survive
as for charity"tat"any products sold by clintons or others for charity give said charities a donation for no exposure to loss and believe me having been involved in the retail charity market in its early days they value every penny0 -

I went into the Dundee branches. The one in the Wellgate centre had lots of good bargains. There was a lot of dress up outfits for nativity eg mary, Shepherd Angel reduced to £1.99 and £2.99. There was also some Art Deco stuff, a lot of baby's first christmas, keyrings with pre-programmed phrases eg Grumpy git, thunderbirds down to 99p. I got a posh puzzles book reduced from £5.99 to £1.99. It's a handbag sized sudoku book with a lovely design on front cover. Looks expensive. Loads of gift wrap and cards too.0
