I believe it's a relatively recent thing (or maybe you do have 'the face':rotfl:). I know several staff members that quit because of the policy of having to do these upsells.

Quite a few bargains in my local Clintons this afternoon. Xmas wrapping paper 25p a roll - I got some plain silver so can use throughout year for bday presents. Also me to you little bears Xmas tree decs with names on 49p. Packs of Xmas cards 75% off. Quite a few bits and bobs.

For those of you that are K TWO fans I found their birthday book (original design) for £2.99 in Clintons in Cambridge. Down from £9.99. They had quite a few copies. They might have them in other stores.

Just got back from Clintons and have boughts lots of bits. The Clinton's I went into had all their art deco range reduced to 49p (picked up note books and mirrors etc ideal stocking fillers). They also reduced their Mr Men range down to 10p. Their xmas box range was 75% off (and this included their normal gift boxes - colours silver, red and gold). There were lots of other bits to, I worked I out that I got about £45 worth of stuff for about £4.00.
If they havent reduced stuff yet in your local Clinton's I'd keep checking.

i got a twilight tin with 4 notebooks inside, £14.99 down to 9.99 then reduced again to 2.99. my DD birthday today and her present was delayed in the post, so got that 4 her as something to open. wish they had more cus i'd have bought the lot at that price

I managed to get about £50 worth of halloween stuff for £1.20 in my clintons. Great for dressing up box. Ranged from face paints, tights, flashing light sticks, masks and battery operated candles plus more. One happy shopper.

I got some yankee candle wax tarts from there earlier they have tarts, samplers and tea lights at 60% off but only in some fragrances. :j

Not much in WOT store except cards and wrap,they did have me to you reduced but in the £1.50,£2.50 range so not great bargains .did pick up the 3 small jar Xmas pack of Yankee candles reduced to £7.50
