welll done to Lulu & Spot at the show.

I remember the photos of them when you first got them and I fell in love with Spot (you might remember I asked if you'd swop him with my 11 year old, arthritic, cantankerous bruiser :) but you declined) but I think as they've grown, Lulu seems to be more 'pretty' than Spot now.
She has the most beautiful coat.

I remember! Of course, I think they are both as gorgeous as each other ;) how is your boy?

Thanks for asking, Fridaycat, but I think Murphy's going downhill somewhat.

He was really ill as a 5 week old kitten with pneumonia & cat flu and even the vet wouldn't/couldn't say if he'd pull through.

He did, after a fraught 2 weeks with wet tea towels splashed with Olbas Oil on all the radiators to help him breathe, but as he's got older he has joint problems and now limps on 2 legs.

He's given up catching & eating the local wildlife and he's sleeping a lot, he's asleep on the bed at the moment.

He's also getting a bit clingy with me, he's never been a lap cat but he now can't wait for me to sit on the sofa before he's on my knee.

3 days before Christmas he came home with his tail just hanging down and we were worried that he'd either been hit by a car or somebody had pulled his tail but after a visit to the vet, we found it was a cat bite so he was on anti-biotics.
    He recovered pretty quickly, luckily.
    He's a tough old !!!!!!.

We never thought he'd make 'old bones' so we think we've been quite lucky.

My OH says he's our last cat (although he did say that about our last boy) so who knows.

Aww, sorry to hear that, Pollycat. I am sure you will have many more precious moments with him, though. My Friday cat is like that, the minute I am sat down, she is sat on me!

Thanks, winterwhite. When Bengal cats were first bred, back in the '60s, it was actually by crossing an Asian Leopard Cat with a domestic (USA) cat. Some people think that Bengals are aggressive because of this, but in my wide experience of them, they are no more aggressive than any other cat, if they are treated correctly. Earlier generations (F1s - F4s) may still have some wilder tendencies, but F5s onwards (as most are nowadays) are just as soppy as any other cat.

maybe you could re-post the photos of Lulu and Spot as kittens or post the link for anybody who missed them.

I think Spot has grown into his ears now, he seemed to be all ears when he was a kitten - even more so than most kittens are, IYSWIM. :)

Ok, seeing as you insist, here's pictures of the terrible twins when they were around 15 weeks old or so :D:
