Orange Account Online Registration Problems
I've been trying to register online with Orange since yesterday and keep having to wait about an hour for a security code.
Then when I enter the security code, its not recognised and I go into another loop waiting for another security code. And so on, you get the picture.
I emailed customer services only to get an automated reply 'Due to high volume of emails, we can't reply for 7 days'.
If I don't get access to my online bills, I won't be able to claim cashback from Phone4U.
Short of kissing goodbye to £100 cashback and never ever seeing my online bills, what can I do??

I've been having the same problem.Must have twenty different codes in my inbox.Every one I enter is rejected and send me another one!
I assume its a technical fault andwill give it another day or so and will try again.0 -
Seriously I'm shocked how bad the service by Orange is. I'm only 10 days into my new contract and wonder if there is a cooling-off period cos I think I don't want anything to do with Orange now.0

None of the mobile networks are perfect but Orange is pretty bad in my experience.
I have Orange accounts for my daughters because they are good value, but I would never again have one for myself.
Spoke to them again today after having exact same problems as you and they admitted they have had a lot of problems with online accounts for a long time and that they have no idea when they will work.
They agreed to send me paper bills for free (have to ask for them each month until online acc works). This would help you with your P4U rebate.
Have worked at P4U and think the cooling off period is a thing of the past. If you can wangle it (having no network coverage is one reason they may refund within 14 days, but get your story straight before you go in!) and afford it, I would change to another network.
If not just put it down to experience and try another network next time.
When you find a network you like, do not let a cheap deal or P4U staff persuade you to change though lol0 -
Their online service ('Your Account') has been abysmal of late.0

They have told me that 'Your Account' is pretty much shot and is likely to be for a while yet. I complained as there is no other way to get my bill and they have sent me Paper Bills FOC (normally £3) and also credited my account with £10 for the trouble. They did say that it would be sorted by the 1st week in Jan but I guess it is still shot.0

Yup, only since 2006 - I remember when they brought it in at first and you know what, not much has changed.. I used to pay £1.50 / Month for a Paper Bill just to be on the safe side!David

Still can't get my online account with Orange set up - same thing. 'Sorry - glitch with the site' blah blah blah. I did ring last week and they said they'd pass on my call to their Tech guys.
I work in IT and cannot believe that Orange have no idea when this will be resolved.
Ok many thanks for the tip re paper bills. I'll get onto Orange Customer Services again and demand free paper bills.
One of my colleagues is with T-mobile and he thinks they are brilliant - has an app on his phone which works fine while another colleague also with Orange has never managed to get the Orange app working on his phones - we're all IT developers too.0 -
Orange app works fine on my iPhone really good app one because i can check my data allowance at any time
As for the website its working fine my end but they are having trouble with it for some reason i think it all depends were you live weather it works or not
To be honest there website as always been the same one min works fine next its down been like that since i have been with them But can't complain to much because they have been good to me since iv'e been with them.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -
There's no point in my trying to use the Orange app on my Galaxy S2 when I can't even get my online account set up.
The problem is obviously at Orange's end and the app will be using the same servers.0
