rang my local store to check and they said it starts 14th.
some items on leaflet aren't reduced i think. fairly certain that moses basket and stand are normally that price as it was one we looked at

I have noticed this before in their baby event, they promote items that are just the same price as usual
  • As Tesco is running their baby event at the same time don't forget to check both stores before going out (if you have both stores local to you), I noticed on the leaflets that Johnson's 300ml shampoo is £1 in asda but in Tesco the 500ml is bogof at £2.60 .... making Tesco cheaper (for once) this was just one example, i will be checking the price per nappy before buying from either store.
Stop trying to keep up with the Jones, as they're trying to keep up with the Smith's
  • Where has the cheapest nappies out of all the events? My wife is expecting our first baby in May & want to be fully prepared! Huggies or Pampers?

Asda little angels are really good for newborns, we prefer them to the big brands.

congrats on the baby news - my advice is to only buy pampers ! I tried asda (once - never again ) - lidl ( after advice from HV - never again) and huggies is absolutly horrendous !!! hth

Pampers are the most expensive for a reason - and with a wee baby you shouldn't scrimp !

edit : If you join the pampers baby club they send you loads of vouchers and baby items - its pretty good !

Ditto to that, we were bought a whole range of nappies so have tried them all and found asdas the best (and they're cheaper)

Nothing to do with price but we bought lots of huggies that didn't agree with our son, so ended up having to buy pampers which were fine, spent a fortune in the end. My friends got lots of free huggies nappies though :)

I think my wife has joined all of the clubs, really pleased with the free bag from Boots. So Pampers it is then, off to work out which store has the best deal per nappy...

Do they reduce the items towards the end of the sale?
