Really?...I havent seen it in supermarkets... love the information you can get on here!

Anyway PSB is purple sprouting broccoli so yes definitely a Clifton thing!!;):rotfl: Love the stuff and its so pricey that I had hoped to grow my own. Neighbour gave me some small plants but they are all dying:(:(:(

Tilly Tidies are (well she (the lovely Miss Tilly) is moving it into savings but us debt laden mortals use it to bring down debts step by step) rounding down the current account and moving it across...my personal best was 3p:rotfl: To be fair I usually round down to £10...

However it really works. You should try it. OK my debts are sky high but when the statement arrives with about 15 payments against it as well as the min payment I feel like I have made progress. It also forces me to confront the situation every day as I go on online banking.. No bad thing.

kerri- it's next to the brown vinegar! I buy wherever i am :) in a$da, te$co, sainsbug or even better in bulk from b00kers! ;)
I was sooo looking in the washing aisle! I found white wine vinegar once, that worked wonders on cleaning the drain with the 1kg of bicarb I still have from making bath bombs :) Have bought some borax on amazonia, if I can stop using harmful chems in our dishwasher I'll be a very happy bunny. Our last batch of suma wash powder ran out last month and I bought it in October 2011 :D £35 for 18 months for 2 people and no harmful nasties.

  • I had to ask the very harassed looking woman in a$da the first time i wanted it! But after that I know now where to find it ;) Bulk buying is the way to go though you can use white vinegar for everything!! :D

Blimey there was alot to catchup one there.:D

I need to get cracking on the homemade washing gloop, washing up liquid etc etc. White vinegar is great, I used it for cleaning up rabbit wee  and also for making the microwave smell nice although the house was a bit smelly afterwards. Just to clarify I didn't use the same batch of vinegar for cleaning both the rabbit wee and the microwave,it was a fresh lot for each job ! Cheap as chips in A$da as DFW says.

Love your new signature Mrs B. Much clearer to understand. I think you should put two more totals in though, your debts when you started and how much you have paid off, it makes me feel so much better to see how much has been paid off .

Good to see you are still doing the Tilly Tidies, I am doing them too although not every day but must admit mine tend to me more like 93p or something equally meagre, but as you say it all helps !

How you feeling today ? Hopefully not as tired as you were a few days ago. This chilly weather is making me a bit fed up again, I really need a trip to sunnier climes !

Hope you and the girls are good xxx

I'm good just well busy at work...not complaining, just drowning !;)

Gloop is good, I would try it and I am keen to try the WUL and polish DFW talks about..

Good veggie dinner today, spinach, walnut, tomato and mushroom pasta a la Girl Called Jack plus adaptations. Need to sort portions tho, still starving but maybe that's cos I skipped lunch again as was too busy :(

Am determined to run some errands tomorrow before more work.

    Laters folks x

  • Hi Brizzle, we all struggle with portions in the Tilly household, and find it easier when we have a lodger as I seem to cook the same amount and stretch it, with no one moaning about being hungry. I even used a smaller plate for a while and I think that helped.

I do wonder over the course of a week, I could probably get another meal for four out of the portions - that would be helpful on the lbs and £s :T

Sorry to hear you are so busy with work.

    Best wishes Tilly x
