I am on p.51.. its a great read :rotfl: - it's wonderful to to read again and know how well it all turns out. I think I first appeared on p. 25 or something.. so have virtually known the lovely Mrs T a long timeif you're reading

I am feeling positive. Thanks for your kind words. Earning more per month too which obviously helps. March and April were spendy months but I have definitely got the game face on this month :j :jMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Well I am finally sitting down after a long looong day at work, washing on, everyone fed, OH out the door to play sport, started packing and made a list and DD2 reckons every time she sits down I ask her to do another thing...oh how I chortled and made sure that she knows thats pretty much what being a parent is like!
Taking a breather now. Have missed the garden sun so cup of tea and then maybe a glass to celebrate life and all the things I am grateful for.
Just shuffled some money and realised that (doh) that I could just shuffle the same money about. Not very bright me. But have finally cottoned on and £500 is winging its way to NW, a £500 from the NW account is winging its way back to my usual current account to keep us solvent, and then I will the same routine tomorrow to make sure I pay in the required minimum per month to get the best interest rate.
Unfortunately not a NSD as I asked DD2 to get icecreams...come on it was an emergency.. :rotfl: OH will have a pint and spend money at sport but not bad. I am closer to my target this month than ever before. I may ask DD1 to declutter to get us closer to target and also try and work out how we get the sales going again...have been non existent for 2 months as I simply havent gotten around to it. True there is much less stuff in our possession now but even so.
DD1 has also been hogging the laptop (fair enough she has exams)..so I haven't gotten around to having a sneaky peek at my provisional savings rate, but am hopeful, pretty hopeful

Oh and going veggie is going really well...apart from the use up freezer contents frenzy we have only had veggie meals. Its been good, and am sure its helped with the food bills so will keep this up for JuneMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Oh I'm impressed with the veggie plans! I've been slowly creeping my family away from 7 meat dinners a week but they all complain if they get veg meals more than twice a week, and I'm a good cook! I despair sometimes. What are you making?MFW diary here. 1 Feb 2017 $229,371 - MFD Feb 2043  aiming for May 2028

Hi there
It's simple things really. Pasta dishes like lentil Bolognaise, aubergine dishes - Middle Eastern stuff works well too. We are also eating more fish so more pescatarian really. The Rose Elliott cook book works well for us. I also plan to look at Economy gastronomy I think.
Did some exercise today - but think I have pulled a muscle in my hipTypical. Also decluttered 5 items :j and had another LSD as all we bought was ice cream to go with a fruit pie
Ridiculously keen to do another money shuffle. May have to do a Tilly Tidy just to tide myself over :rotfl:
Hope everyone is having a good weekend xMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

I've been a pescatarian for 25 years - I hardly ever get colds and (touch wood) have never had a tummy bug in 25 years. Coincidence maybe, maybe not??
Hope you're enjoying your bank holiday xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Thanks for popping by SA...yes its proving pretty easy and hope we can keep it up with more veggie meals even when we are hosting this summer.
Away at the moment, having to work a little, but managing. Weather has not been great, but looks like we will have a good day today. Its been a recharge week really with dear friends which has been timely and much needed. Sometimes you only see these things in retrospect.
Meal planning has been good, needed a top up yesterday but used MOVs and our C0op card to keep as low as possible.
Done a money shuffle as some credits haven't arrived and needed to make sure enough in account for first of the month. Target wise - don't think I will meet them but nudging closer this month. Much better than last month anyhow. DD2 has been tasked with a masshoosive clothes clear out to try and make some room so hoping that will go a long way to the declutter target for next month. Will update properly over the weekend but quietly hopefulre the saving target
Have a good day folks, hope the sun shines for you all xMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Well done with the veggie meals - I struggle with meat free meals for OH & DD (the rest of us are fine with them to varying degrees) - they both seem to regard meat free dishes as 'sides' to the main event.:rotfl:
