They took blooming ages ... but were finally done. One of the biggest has been approved for payment..and another should be paid within next 2 weeks so am content with that.

Should have been a NSD yesterday but then OH went out with a mate, but will sub £20 so I guess that qualifies as a LSD?

I have lost track of my AFDs..but not bad. Feel better for it too. Reaching for a cup of tea more than the wine in the evenings which is a good sign :)

Feel more than slightly like a hamster on the wheel..but will go and get a coffee now and try and move onto the next item on my weighty 'to do' list

All sounding good Brizzle. I've not done as well as you with the AFDs but have done better than last month.

Thanks SA..all good, although had a wee bit too much last night...slower start than usual :o and didn't do an exercise class...have spent the morning running around doing laundry, chivvying DD2 re packing for a school trip and chivvying DD1 re AS level revision..happy days and am sure it all counts as exercise right :rotfl:

So..can't really do the savings target for March as I rebooted YNAB during the month. But suspect we dropped to between 15-20% savings. I am not counting the flights spends in that..(obviously)

    What went well..

    - I earned a lot more by doing additional work and the additional workstreams continue which is good news. We were pretty frugal apart from the stuff I have already talked about...but we did some nice things too, like the weekend away in the hotel. We didn't eat out at all which was good and used up a lot in the freezer. No big supermarket shops for us this month. We just topped up at the smaller local Co0p and used local stores. That didn't help the NSD or LSD targets at all though so think I need to pull that target right back

The nail kit seems to be a winner. My nails still look good a week on, so I am very happy about that. As me and the girls all did our nails last weekend we have basically recouped the outlay already (as compared to my usual salon prices) - in just one sitting :D

    What went less well..

I gave in and bought a pair of my favourite jeans when up in town yesterday..I love them so and the cheaper styles just don't do it as much for me. The old pair were from 2010..so have had a good innings... I also live in jeans..so price per wear will be fractions of a penny by the time I am done. But it means that I now need to set a no new clothes target as I bust that one. It held for months and months though so pretty pleased with myself.

No savings for Spring birthdays...so need to rectify that.

    Plans for the month ahead:

    - continue to do the exercise classes several times each week and try and ride my bike to the station more
    - sort my new contracts out and keep hustling for additional work which I can fit around the existing
    - buy a bigger tables for the outside space so we can all sit outside and eat meals..one of the most joyful things about a summer (as well as pegging out ;))
    - OH is away again so will try and get better totals for NSDs and LSDs
    - keep the savings goal at 25% and be unrelenting about focussing on paying down the CCs
    - try for no screens after 9:30pm and enforce it
    - plan the London trip so we do plenty of free stuff and take vouchers for meals out eg. Pizza e4press

Will try and stick to this as much as possible - wish me luck folks :)

    Have a great weekend

Um.. well I have tried Next, M&S and in fact Ph£se 8 and H9bbs too (I like the latter for coloured jeans?) but these are 7 for all Mankind.. um. Not very :money: at all :( but if they keep on lasting 7 years of hard wear then they are the jeans for me..

They need taking up as I am a shorta6se :rotfl: but am so keen to wear them I am wearing them folded up a bit! Will take to tailors later on in week.

Have a great weekend folks. I am screaming around working and doing family stuff before OH legs it for another few weeks.. ho hum, but pays the bills I guess. Will update sig shortly

A beautiful morning to cycle to the station. Very glad I did.

Good family times this weekend.. to be treasured. Busy week this week but the invoices should start to get paid which means I can start the money shuffle. I am tempted to try and squeeze in an ISA payment this tax year, but there is no way I am going to use up my limit next year so probably best to resist and use it against the debts.

Chicken marinating in the fridge for tea. With rice made in the SC will make
a very simple but tasty tea
    Have a good week folks
