Hi SA, yep it's a gel kit. I am a huge shellac fan so fingers crossed this will be doable. Got some advice from a friend on which one to get.
Yes that's very very true DIA. life much better when he's around although not always less stressful!!

Blimey, it's so much easier leaving home and getting back (in time) in the light. Makes such a difference to my mood! Although the chocolate may also help!!
I have an important work event coming up.. do I break my no new clothes rule?? Thoughts and comment welcome!! I am also aware that haven't done my end of month update so will do that - probably over the weekend as so much going on at work at the moment
Hope everyone is doing well. Should be another LSD today unless OH went mad in the bike shop (oh and he needed a part for a kitchen repair.. so maybe not as low spend as I'd have liked!)MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

I don't know what clothes you already have. I often feel more comfortable and therefore more relaxed wearing something I KNOW I look good in. Maybe a compromise? Is there an item that will jazz up something existing....If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks Beanie and DIA. I will have a sort out this weekend and see what I think. Maybe I can get away with an existing outfit and smart new shoes..
AFD yesterday and LSD as although OH did get some parts for repairs (don't you hate it when your kitchen falls apart..rusty drawer runner...) I used the Co&p loyalty scheme to pick up the veggies we needed for tea. So free
But no NSDs yet this month which feels pretty poor. A few watchers on some EBay items but not much. And girls saying not much more to sell....so am going to have to be inventive with my 2017 sales target methinks!!
Work is looking manageable finances wise and there is a chink of light that it may improve too. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best as they say.
Had a budget meeting with OH yesterday which he was pretty depressed about. He's feeling pretty ground down at the moment. I am just hoping that given another couple of months at a decent savings rate he will begin to see a difference and start to believe we can set ourselves on a sustainable road to saving and spending
Have a great day folksMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Morning Brizzle,
just catching up:)
Totally familiar with the above!
OH and finance and doom & gloom conversations I still try and avoid, because we still can't talk about it without escalating into something else - I find it easier to just get on with it - a bit defeatist I know, but I find I can keep me upbeat but not the both us.
think I heard something along the lines of "#and she still persisted " in the news this morning. Am sure you will be able to make OH start to believe.

Thanks L..it should do..but then we need the money so I should quit moaning I guess. Just 5-6 hours of sleep a night just aint enough so getting crabby and losing perspective..
An AFD and a LSD..OH spent some money on coffee out with a friend he hasn't seen in years..thats not bad.
