Morning all!
Snowed in here - so 'working' from home today *cough*
Don't know how much I'll actually get done as my son's school has closed for the day because of the bad weather as well! Luckily my OH is also off work and has taken him into town to buy a sledge and make the most of the snow while it lasts!
Wrap up warm everybody! xx :snow_laug0 -

If you're planning to cook it anyway, halve (or quarter - depending on size) it and scoop out the seeds. Put in a roasting tin, drizzle with olive oil, and cook on low (gas 1-ish) until soft. The skin will come away easily.
If you want it raw, a small sharp veg knife is best, IME.

Morning all. Lots of snow here, and more coming down. OH is staying here today, working from home and my boss rang me earlier to tell me not to try and get in (nice man
) but I'll have to try and get there tomorrow. The cat has decided not to bother to go outside after all and is snuggled up in bed.
Am worried sick about DD22 who is in the northern part of the country on teaching practice, she's in a country school and it wasn't snowing earlier when she drove there, but is snowing nowShe only has a little car and I'm terrified she won't get home again
Have to be quiet round the house when OH is working  so won't get a lot done. I've put a curry in the slow cooker for dinner and will have soup and crispbreads for lunch.
Am so glad I got over to my 80 year old mum's yesterday in Gloucestershire and stocked her up with milk, bread and essentials so I know she's OK. The supermarket there was manic though  full of people stocking up I suppose.
Hope everyone is safe and warm, and those with little ones have a great time in the snow, how I miss those days and making snowmen!

Bargainrzl - I just use my potato peeler, a Y-shaped good grips one. It's by far the easiest way I've found.0

Morning all.We had a sprinkling of snow at home but no snow here in Inverness. It's been disappointing so far this year - hardly any snow to speak of so no snow days off work. If everyone could blow hard and just blow the snow up here I'd really appreciate it!! It's not really that cold either - I didn't have to scrape the car this morning.Ah well, never mind. I suppose I ought to get down to some work.Have a fun day everyone, keep warm and hugs to all that need them.Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts - DFW Nerd 323
