  • Dear diary

Fanx for the support guys. Quite frankly things are really crap. I had an argument with the inlaws on Friday which resulted in me walking out with my two boys. Hubby was still at work. I rang the council to see if they could put us up over the weekend somewhere. In the end they spoke to my MIL and persuaded her to let us stay here till tomorrow. I waited in the local library till Hubby came home from work then we went back to his parents home together. I haven't spoken to them all weekend and the atmosphere is awful.

Hubby knows that I didn't start the argument and understands how difficult his parents are. He is really supportive and can't wait to leave either. We have no idea what will happen tomorrow so watch this space.

    Bye for now

  • Hey direstraits, i've just read through your diary, just wanted to say i think you're doing really well dealing with everything. I have depression and know how easy it is to stick your head in the sand and let the hubby deal with it...so good on you for trying to sort things out.

The council really are a pain the A$$ they don't seem to realise they are putting people's lives on hold with these decisions. I've been homeless before and can totally understand how frustrating it is for you :(

I hope you get some positive news from them tomorrow and the in-laws make up with you!

    dfw :)
  • How's this evening and today. You know where we are if you need some support

  • Dear diary. Its been a while - sorry! I haven't had internet access cause we moved into a council b&b on monday. Its not too bad - at least we are safe & warm. I've spent all week making sure we can function as a family ok. Its gonna be tough but its only temporary. We are still fighting the council about their decision that we are intentionally homeless. the CAB are being great - need to keep positive still. Fanx for everyones support - I really need it! Bye for now x

Yep the B&B we are in is quite nice. We are all sleeping in the same room but we have use of a shared kitchen, bathroom and living room. We are allowed to stay for 28 days or longer if suitable accommodation hasn't been found.

Thanks everyone for the continued support - I truely need it folks!
