Yes she has asked her to make a statement to the police.
If someone is doing something illegal doesn't it stand to reason that if it goes sour going to the police is not an option?

Let your daughter take the hit/loss and it hopefully will teach her a good lesson in life. If you go down the "fraud" route she could easily find herself in court answering a fraud/theft charge.0

something which puzzled me with this story and forgive me if I missed something - but surely you only need a pin number if you actually have the card? why would an internet fraudster need it otherwise?

I said I would report back with the outcome but sadly we still don't have one. Wonga took all of the details, got the crime number and are now failing to return our calls and emails. Pretty lax CS but no news is good news (or not, when the DC comes calling).0
